Rubio's looks like a team of ADD first graders put it together.
You immediately get hit in the eye with scattered topic boxes....
altho I see the pic of the guy with raised shotgun is not longer aimed at the Repub. elephant.

Cruz's site is more professional, the primary impact is of red and blue colors.
He DOES say he " has spent a lifetime fighting to defend the Constitution" which is over the top.
He is 44 and did not graduate from college till he was 25, so I do not equate 20 years of Gov. paid jobs "a lifetime".

Huge lawsuit as result of the Waco Texas mass biker arrests.

Recap: the Waco police arrested 170 people, supposedly all bikers involved in a shooting in a restaurant parking lot.

turns out, many of those arrested were not involved in the shooting, were not in the area of the shooting.
But they ALL had the same arrest warrants, and had their bikes taken by the police, and ALL arrest warrants asked for one million in bail.
And ALL the warrants were signed by a local Justice of the Peace who had NO legal training.

One guy is suing the cops for false arrest, and damages.
The lawsuit details are quite revealing, and serve to point out police over reach.

Medicare just saved our budget.

Medicare A&B is the closest thing we have to single payer.

Mr. Dixie and I are on Soc. Sec., and we have Medicare.

Mr. Dixie had a slight stroke, it appears, last week, and his doc has been looking for the cause.
So far the heart ultra sound and the carotid artery scan showed nothing, so a brain MRI is scheduled for Friday.

As I do with all tests, I called the clinic to get the price for the MRI.
I also did an internet search for test prices for brain MRI.
Fun fact:
In looking at national pricing, I found that Vancouver Wa. charges, as of 2014, ....$209.00
whereas the most expensive price was $5, 215 in UCSF Med. Center SF.

So, the Medicare Billing office at our local hospital that does the test tells me it will cost ....1500.00.
This is a bit higher than national average, but Medicare will pay it, they assure me.

Our out of pocket cost is....90.00 for co-pay.

We HAVE to start working on affordable single payer, we just have to. So many people are crushed by too expensive medical bills.

another thought.....medical providers are a bit taken aback by requests for billing charges prior to service.
That is a process that needs to change.
