Top-ranking GOP Illinois state lawmaker Ron Sandack resigns--anyone got the real story?

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) — Top-ranking Republican state Rep. Ron Sandack says he's resigning from the Illinois House, citing "cyber security issues."

Sandack has used Facebook and Twitter accounts, but both appeared to have been taken down Monday morning.

"It has been a tremendous honor and privilege to serve the people of the 81st District for the past four years in Springfield. But after some cyber security issues arose, I began to re-evaluate my continued public service," the House Republican floor leader from Downers Grove said in the statement released late Sunday through a House GOP spokeswoman.

Sandack also said he wants to spend more time with family.

Anytime that old "spend more time with family" excuse comes up, I get real curious about the REAL story.

Anyone recently hospitalized notice this?

I was in hospital for 2 days for surgery a week ago.
I had just finished 5 days of Cipro for UTI ( a fairly common problem for women), unrelated to the surgery issue.
and told Dr. so.
The evening after surgery a nurse gave me an anti-biotic injection, and the same thing the next am, muttered something vaguely about "reducding risk of infection"
and then was discharged with a prescription for 10 days of Kaflex, another anti-biotic, again with explanation of reducing risk of infection.

It has been decades since I was in hospital last, so I am curious if such anti-biotic use is now normal?
I asked, got non-specific answers, and actually was more focused on my medical issue at the time to think much of it.

Anyone?
