Strange as it may seem the plans for the mighty Saturn V that boosted the Apollo crews on their way to the Moon were safely ensconced in John Kennedy's campaign documents in 1960, ready for his call on May 25, 1961 to send humans to the Moon and safely return to Earth.
After all, what use is there to have a goal without specific plans of how to reach that goal? Kennedy was no fantasist like Sanders and would never have committed our nation to shoot for the Moon unless he had a set of blueprints for the mechanism to reach that unearthly goal.
If Hillary truly supports Obama's SCOTUS nominee then she will release her GS transcripts
Hey, it makes as much sense as plenty of other stuff that gets posted here in GD-P. You see the transcripts are an issue distracting the public from focusing on Obama's nominee and if Hillary releases the transcripts then people will be free to focus on SCOTUS.

Unfortunate language about minority youth using dog training terminology aside, the "superpredator" statement by Hillary turns out to be yet one more example of her embracing a wrong idea and using it to destroy the lives of those she claims to be helping.

It was 20 years ago when I first met Derrick Hardaway in the Cook County Juvenile Detention Center. He, along with his 16-year-old brother, had just been arrested for their roles in the murder of Robert "Yummy" Sandifer. Yummy, nicknamed for his love of cookies, was only 11, but had been the subject of a massive manhunt in the days before his death. A suspect in the murder of a 14-year-old girl, Yummy had been hidden by fellow members of the Black Disciples gang. When the increased heat from the police started to disrupt the gang's drug business, gang higher-ups ordered that Yummy be killed and dispatched the Hardaway boys to do their dirty work. Derrick's role was to lure Yummy to go into his brother's car with a promise that the gang was taking him out of town. Instead, the boys drove Yummy to a pedestrian tunnel on the South Side of Chicago. While Derrick waited in the car, his brother took Yummy into the tunnel where Yummy was shot and killed.
I was reminded of Derrick and all that has transpired in juvenile justice since our first meeting when I saw the excellent Retro Report short documentary The Superpredator Scare produced by Bonnie Bertram and Scott Michels in association with the New York Times. Derrick's case -- which is featured in the film -- helped to launch the so-called "superpredator" myth.
The "superpredator" myth was premised on junk science and inaccurate predictions based on demographics. According to then-Princeton political science professor John DiIulio, an expected increase in the number of urban teenagers who were "fatherless, Godless, and jobless" would result in a bloodbath of violence on America's city streets. These morally impoverished teenagers were different from teens of the past-- they were amoral, feral beings, stone-cold killers, willing to maim, rape and kill without a moment's thought. They were "superpredators."

Scalia's passing is a giant squirrel, it might not be one that was manufactured but it will be used by anyone with a sly agenda to slip stuff under the radar while the M$M predictably chases the bright and shiny squirrel.
Keep your eye on the ball, ladies and germs, Scalia is just a distraction at this point.
Hillary has lost the under 45 vote, there are only two basic choices to make and it's getting late
One choice is for the Clinton campaign to try and get the younger crowd back, some planned spontaneity and perhaps some stern lectures from 75 year old icons might do it, then again maybe not.
The other basic choice is for the Clinton campaign to so revolt the under 45 crowd with their behavior that the less than geriatric just stay home out of disgust for all things political and the olds then triumph since we evidently as a group which I am ashamed to say I belong to will swallow any amount of the most grotesque slime and proclaim it caviar.
I guess we will see in the next few weeks and months which path the Clinton campaign is going to take, win young people with a bold vision or turn them off with a tsunami of slime.
"No conscience, no empathy . . . we have to bring them to heel" who said it, Clinton or Sanders?
What drives the extreme age division between Sanders and Clinton voters?
I think this may have a lot to do with it.

Bernie has it, he speaks the plain language of everyday Americans rather than the carefully calibrated and focus group tested jargon of the average politician. He actually knows how to say yes and no, something most politicians are loath to do.
Trump will swing pretty far left if he gets the nomination
Trump's not an ideologue he's the ultimate pragmatist, whatever the hell will get him elected is fine with him.
It wouldn't surprise me at all to hear him call his own primary rhetoric bullshit if he were to get the nom, he's got enough money to get away with a lot and I"m gradually realizing he's actually wicked smaht, he certainly taking the Republican party for a ride.
