Anonymous ENDORSES Bernie Sanders

[bTen Reasons That Will Convince You That Bernie Sanders Deserves Your Vote]

December 23rd, 2015 | by CoNN

It’s time to celebrate a candidate who deserves the spotlight, more so than other candidates from either side of the left-right false divide.

Here are 10 reasons why Bernie Sanders deserves more coverage from the mainstream media and, ultimately, your vote:

1) He supports a new Glass Steagall act- hell he even detailed 5 reasons explaining why it’s important; passed over 80 years ago, it had prevented commercial banks from participating in investment banking. It was repealed in 1999, and banks used this new-found ability to plunder the savings of their depositors by making extremely risky “investments” for their own profit. This is the primary reason for the 2008 financial crisis, and the reason why the big banks had to be bailed out by taxpayers. Hillary Clinton doesn’t want to reinstate Glass-Steagall while Trump wants regulations on Wall Street to be weakened.

2) He wants to break up the big banks; no more of this “too big to fail” nonsense- he also voted against the bailout of Wall Street. Hillary, on the other hand, receives money and support from Wall Street. She has also voted multiple times for the bailout despite “evolving” on the issue. Trump wants to maintain the size of the big banks. He also wanted to bail out the banks.

3) Sanders opposed NAFTA and the TPP: two “trade” agreements, the first causing the loss of up to a million jobs in America and the second a formerly-top-secret agreement which would hand sweeping powers to corporations. Hillary was for the TPP and supported it a dozen times- only recently has she “evolved” on the matter. Trump hates the TPP too… but only because he thinks China would somehow benefit from it.

LatinoRebels: Just When You Thought Hillary Clinton Couldn’t Hispander Any More, She Did It AGAIN

Earlier this year, we wrote an editorial about how the Hillary Clinton campaign produced one crazy insulting example of Hispandering. But just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse, an official post from the Clinton campaign written today just scaled the Hispandering from a 10 to an 11.

~snip~

Then there is this:

Everybody loves abuela—even this guy.

Insert photo of Marc Anthony.

And don’t forget to “Add your name for more abuela updates.”

Please stop. Just stop. This is bad. Really bad. If this is where the Clinton campaign is going, it might as well just be completely transparent about the fact that all it wants to do is Hispander like no one has Hispandered every before. The Clinton team might as well just upload this meme to the campaign site and call it a day.

Young Latino voters are not stupid. They are actually informed and can sense when someone it authentically reaching out and when someone is just lowering the bar. Enough with the lowering of the bar. The Clinton campaign needs to get serious about the young Latino vote and start respecting it. Votes are earned, not expected.

By the way, we aren’t the only ones saying this. Just check out #NotMyAbuela on Twitter today:

#NotMyAbuela--Hillary Clinton's Team Thinks She's Just Like Your Abuela, Twitter DISAGREES

Today, Hillary Clinton's campaign team put out a list titled, "7 Ways Hillary Clinton Is Just Like Your Abuela." And unsurprisingly, people on Twitter aren't too happy about it. Shortly after, #NotMyAbuela began trending on Twitter and users called the move "Hispandering" from Clinton's team. The list includes gifs after points like "She reacts this way when people le faltan el respeto..." or "She reacts this way when people disrespect her..."

Some Twitter users called the list "out of touch," saying it wasn't reflective of the Latino experience. "My Abuela came to this country with a 6th grade education and worked in favorites for 50 something cents to a Man's dollar," one person tweeted.

Here are more reasons Twitter users say Hillary Clinton is #NotMyAbuela:

* My gma learned English as a second language & became a school teacher- dedicating her life to teaching tolerance and equality.
-ria

* ways Hillary Clinton is like my abuela: She is apparently very much out of touch with culture.
- Mathew Rodriguez

* My Abuela came to this country with a 6th grade education and worked in favorites for 50 something cents to a Man's dollar
- Eliel Cruz

* Hillary Clinton is running for president. No Latina is running for president. Ergo, Clinton is unlike your abuela.
- Roque Planas

* Hillary is #NotMyAbuela but I bet she pays someone like my abuela does her hair.
- Mary Sue

* One of my abuelas, from Utuado, worked washing the dishes and picking coffee since she was 11 years old. Hillary is #NotMyAbuela -- LaÍnsulaAlucinada

* I was locked up w/o access to competent counsel or fair trial bcuz my family denied my relationship to my Mexican-born abuela. #NotMyAbuela -- jana brubaker

* Hillary is nothing like my abuela just stop https://twitter.com/micnews/status/679344553921536004
- mel

* Maybe try discussing our issues, not pandering and patronizing, in order to get our votes. #NotMyAbuela

Shaun King: This Is WHY I Love Bernie Sanders

Shaun King ✔@ShaunKing

This is why I love Bernie. This is that cold hard (painful) truth he told right here.

Shaun is referring to the statement that Bernie issued on Grand Jury decision in Sandra Bland case shown below:

Since Bernie Sanders was first interrupted by Black lives Matter activists at Netroots Nations earlier this year; he and his campaign have listened to the issues brought forward by the activists such as: mass incarceration, police brutality and racial injustice. Sanders has responded by creating the strongest Racial Justice platform in the democratic field. His work has resounded in the minority communities involved by building support such as that reiterated by Shaun King above.

This Is Why Recent Polls Could BODE WELL For Bernie Sanders

~snip~

However, when you actually look into the data of the early primary states, you will find that the Democratic nomination is far from secured. New polls in the first three states to vote in the Democratic primary (Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina respectively) bode well for Bernie Sanders’ chances in the early voting states. The newly released CBS/YouGov polls have Sanders’ up by 14 points in New Hampshire, down by only 5 points in Iowa, and while he is still down 36 points in South Carolina, Clinton’s lead has been cut by 11 points since the last CBS/YouGov poll.

Looking deeper into the data bodes even better for Sanders’ chances: In the NH poll, only 35% of those polled for the Democratic primary were under age 45. In the Iowa poll that number was only 30%, and only 14.7% of voters polled were ages 18-29. To find a historical precedent for what these numbers mean, we only have to look back to 2008. If this year’s age 18-29 voter turnout for the Iowa Democratic caucus at least matches the 2008 numbers (22% of total), it would mean the recent YouGov polls under sampled younger voters, which are the backbone of Sanders’ campaign. According to the new Iowa poll, 71% of Democratic primary voters aged 18-29 support Bernie Sanders. This is even better than Obama’s 2008 numbers, where he received the support of 57% of Iowa Democratic caucus voters aged 18-29.

It appears that this cycle’s Democratic nomination will be decided by voter turnout among young voters and first time caucus goers. When you think about Bernie Sanders’ supporters, one of the first adjectives that comes to mind is disillusioned. Many of them had given up on the political process. These people are as likely to be first time voters as any group. Another interesting result from the recent polls is that 76% of Sanders’ voters say they are enthusiastic in their support for him, compared to 49% of Clinton backers who say that the same. Will this enthusiasm translate into victory for Bernie Sanders in the Democratic primary? That’s up for us to decide.

Bernie Sanders 51 Trump 38:-- Hillary Clinton 47 Trump 40

If the presidential election were held today, Republican candidate Donald Trump would lose to either of the two leading Democratic candidates, a new Quinnipiac poll found.

Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vermont, would actually be more successful than Democratic front runner Hillary Clinton, leading Trump 51 percent to 38 percent. Clinton's lead is smaller: She would beat Trump 47 percent to 40 percent.

Trump still leads the 2016 GOP field with 28 percent support among Republicans nationwide, although Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is hot on his heels with 24 percent - within the plus or minus 4.4 percent margin of error among Republican respondents. Florida Sen. Marco Rubio comes in third, with 12 percent support, and former neurosurgeon Ben Carson nets 10 percent. No other Republican candidate gets more than 6 percent support, and 8 percent of respondents said they were undecided.

~snip~

Clinton's favorability rating is under water, with 51 percent giving an unfavorable rating compared to just 43 percent who like her. But voters do say that she has the right experience to be president by a margin of 63 percent to 35 percent. Those numbers nearly flip for Trump: two-thirds of voters say he does not have the experience to be president.

Bernie Blackout? As DNC Accused of Targeting Sanders, Corporate Media IGNORES Historic Campaign

DEMOCRACY NOW - Is the Democratic National Committee trying to undermine the presidential campaign of Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders? That’s the charge Sanders’ team is making amid a dust-up over a breach of voter information. On Friday, the DNC suspended Sanders’ access to a critical database after finding his staffers improperly viewed front-runner Hillary Clinton’s proprietary information when a computer glitch made it briefly available. The DNC backed down after Sanders filed suit, but the Sanders campaign has accused party leadership of trying to thwart the Vermont senator’s bid. This comes as the Sanders campaign says it’s on pace to break President Obama’s record of more than 2.2 million individual donations. Sanders is making history despite being subjected to what he calls a "blackout" in the corporate media. A recent report finds the flagship news programs at major networks NBC, CBS and ABC have dedicated 234 minutes this year to stories about Donald Trump—compared to just 10 minutes for Sanders. We are joined by Symone Sanders, national press secretary for the Bernie Sanders campaign.

RUMBLE - Bernie vs The DNC

Hughey P. Newsome, The Objective Citizen/Move-On-Up & Medea Benjamin, Global Exchange/CODEPINK/Drone Warfare & Scott Greer, The Daily Caller all join Thom. So - is this evidence that the DNC is trying to undermine the Bernie Sanders campaign? If the Clinton campaign had done the same thing - would they be punished the same way? Plus - Reporters for the Democratic debate were told to dress warm - they would be standing on an ice rink. Wow….

Bernie Sanders Statement on Grand Jury DECISION In Sandra Bland Case

PRESS RELEASE

Sanders Statement on Grand Jury Decision in Sandra Bland Case

DECEMBER 22ND, 2015

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders issued the following statement Monday after a grand jury in Texas decided no felony was committed by the sheriff’s office or jailers in the death of Sandra Bland:

“Sandra Bland should not have died while in police custody. There’s no doubt in my mind that she, like too many African-Americans who die in police custody, would be alive today if she were a white woman. My thoughts are with her family and her loved ones tonight. We need to reform a very broken criminal justice system.”
