Former Vice President Joe Biden assured rich donors at a ritzy New York fundraiser that nothing would fundamentally change if he is elected.
Biden told donors at an event at the Carlyle Hotel in Manhattan on Tuesday evening that he would not demonize the rich and promised that no ones standard of living will change, nothing would fundamentally change, Bloomberg News reported.
Bidens assurance to donors in New York came shortly after his appearance at the Poor Peoples Campaign Presidential Forum in Washington on Monday.

But the financier, Trump-supporting New York supermarket magnate John Catsimatidis, declined.
The event at short seller Jim Chanos' home marked Biden's first fundraising visit to New York since he announced his candidacy for president.
Biden spoke to Catsimatidis, who has an estimated net worth of $3.1 billion, for about 10 minutes at a fundraiser held at the New York home of short seller Jim Chanos, according to the businessman. When Biden asked for his help, "I just smiled," Catsimatidis said.
