momta's JournalCNN: "What you can expect to receive from the Senate stimulus bill"
Nothing! You can expect to receive zip, nada, bupkis, because the asshole republicans are trying to stall it out of existence.
(The above headline is currently on CNN's front page. Here's a link to the story.)

On edit: Yes, I know it's going to pass anyway. I'm just pissed that the GQP is inexplicably opposing such a popular bill when people are days away from losing their unemployment relief.
I just happened to buy a couple of bottles of champagne yesterday.
Maybe I'm psychic or something, but now we have something celebrate!
From the "Can't argue with that" file.
My two college-aged kids were discussing school work. Actually, my son and I were talking while my daughter mostly ignored us, working on a school project.
My son was arguing that it feels "wrong" somehow to turn in work that you believe isn't up to your own standards, rather than miss the deadline in order to make it better. In fact, he argued that it feels "dishonorable" to do so, and he would prefer to just turn in nothing and get an "F" than to turn in something he knows is "C" quality.
"Why would you do that?" I asked. "Why would you sign up for a class, and then not turn in the work just on principle?"
Before he could answer, my daughter lifts her head and replies confidently:
"Health Insurance."
Remember?
Remember not having to keep a running tally of the president's lies?
Remember not having to spend ten minutes after every speech fact checking?
Remember when the president talked about...well...anything other than himself?
We are BACK, Baby!
Alexey Navalny detained on return to Moscow five months after being poisoned
Source: CNN
(CNN)Russia's leading Kremlin critic, Alexey Navalny, was detained by local police on Sunday, moments after his return to the country and five months after he was poisoned with the nerve agent Novichok.
Navalny was taken away by police officers at the border without explanation, his spokesperson Kira Yarmysh tweeted. His lawyer, who was also flying in from Berlin, was not allowed to accompany the opposition leader, she said.
Live footage from Russian broadcaster TV Rain showed Navalny talking with dark-uniformed and masked officers at Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport, then kissing his wife Yulia before walking away with them.

Navalny should be running Russia.
Don't tell me gun-control laws don't work.
Can you imagine if that mob had been legally allowed to "open-carry"?
Pence reminds me of an abused spouse right now.
Trump literally sent violent thugs into where he was working. They were looking for HIM, and not to deliver flowers.
And his reaction is "Oh, he didn't really mean it. It didn't hurt that bad. He's learned his lesson this time."
Aaaaaaghhh!
