"You are made to hate each other because upon that hatred is rested the keystone of the arch of financial despotism, which enslaves you both" Tom Watson, 19th C
In the words of a great man "YES WE CAN".
The battle of our House was won in the great Blue Wave of 2018. We are the big tent that protects our democracy and human decency.
Yes. We can. And we did.......
To those of you spending the day with family or friends, I hope it's full of laughter and smiles. (We'll hold down the fort while you're out)
If you are spending the holiday alone, I wish you a day full of contentment and peace. (Turkey served in the loners' lounge tmrw at 5)
Have a wonderful day and cheers to all our Loner friends.
Context: He starts talking about Antifa. Then makes the hand sign. Intentional? I just took this pic a few minites ago.
Edit: OMG with what he was saying along with this sign...
If anyone knows how to find or make a video clip of that, please let me know.
Thanks dewsgirl for finding a clip
I don't want to drive or ride in a car ever again. I was hit headon last fall.
Yesterday I was driving my little ragtop and...yes it was a schizo squirrel in the road. I swerved to the right to miss the little fellow, not realizing how deep the drop off was.
I panicked and slammed on my brakes, making my car spin in the grass. When I tried to correct and get back on the road I lost control and flipped my car.
I'm lucky to be alive. My hand is broke, have a goose egg on my head, and some scrapes.
Luckily my neck and back are fine and I'm not decapitated.
Not sure what the Universe is trying to tell me. Wish She'd just call and let me know...
Looks like you all get to put up with me for a little longer.
It's a fascinating biography about Essen's Krupp family. (Germany)
I'm about 1/3 through it.
The first house on my rural road is a crack house waving a giant confederate flag. I do not know these neighbors, nor do I want to.
Today is grocery day, so I drove into town .
There was a road crew working on the bridge. Two flagmen and two men working on the bridge. One black man and three hispanic/latino men.
The black man was holding a stop/slow sign...right in front of the house with the confederate flag.
When he stopped me, I waved him to my window. I said that I was sorry that he had to work in front of that hateful house and that most people on this hill didn't hate like that. He was polite and said a simple thank you.
I'm embarrassed and sick that these people had to be exposed to that shit.
How would you all respond and did I say the right thing?
