Record turnout for early voting in Harris County, TX
HOUSTON - Early voting polls opened in Harris County at 8 a.m. Monday.
Harris County Clerk Stan Stanart tells KHOU 11 News that the number of voters turning up is already breaking records.
As of 6:00 p.m., Harris County broke an early voting first day record with 59,827 votes. That breaks the 2012 record of 47,093 votes.
Some viewers at the Bayland Park voting location in southwest Houston told KHOU 11 News that they were warned the wait would be more than two hours.
According to a new CBS News tracking poll, here in Texas 59 percent of likely voters say they plan to cast their ballots early.
"Hillary Clinton is not going to the win the state, but the chances of her doing so are not remote, and they were remote three weeks ago," said Bob Stein, KHOU 11 political analyst.

In early Utah turnout, a third more Democrats than expected have voted
About a third more Utah Democrats have voted so far than normally would be expected in early turnout for by-mail voting — while fewer-than-predicted Republicans are casting ballots.
"That shows us there is an excitement amongst Democrats," Utah Republican Party Chairman James Evans concedes, while "there is a frustration level amongst Republicans" with Donald Trump atop their ticket.
He says the situation is giving the Utah GOP some heartburn over how that will affect other state and local races.
So Evans is glad that, several months ago, his party decided to skip its normal Plan A or even Plan B about how to get out the vote and went straight to a "Plan T" developed just for this unusual presidential election year.
Last June, when Evans was asked if the "T" in "Plan T" stood for Trump, he smiled and said, "It may or may not be a coincidence." But now he says it stands for "turnout," and how to motivate Republicans who may not like Trump to vote anyway to help other GOP candidates.

The morals of Donald J. Trump, as a longtime model lover and then a modeling agency owner, were forged in another era, one in which young girls were used as a sort of currency between men doing business with one another.
It’s not a time that Trump, who once blew up gossip reporters’ phones to dish on his own sexual exploits, real and imagined, is eager to remember now. But after I wrote for The Daily Beast earlier this year about the parties he hosted in the 1990s where “his wealthy friends, high-rollers from his Atlantic City casinos, and potential Trump condominium buyers could meet models” from second-tier agencies, several men who attended those parties at the Plaza Hotel emerged to share scandalous specifics about Trump’s presence and behavior at events where illegal drugs and young women were passed around and used.....
But both men also put Donald Trump in the room with cocaine, very young women and underage girls, and rich, old men there to—pardon my language, but if the Times can say pussy on its front page, I can say this—fuck them....
The girls were as young as 15, he says, and “over their heads, they had no idea, and they ended up in situations. There were always dramas because the men threw money and drugs at them to keep them enticed. It’s based on power and dominating girls who can’t push back and can be discarded. There’s always someone to pick them back up. Nobody wants to call home and say ‘Help me.’”
Trump would “go from room to room,” said the photographer, who added that “I was there to party myself. It was guys with younger girls, sex, a lot of sex, a lot of cocaine, top-shelf liquor” but no smoking. Trump didn’t approve of cigarettes.

Trump slut shames most recent accuser
(CNN)Donald Trump on Monday addressed the latest accusations of inappropriate sexual contact made against him, saying of the accuser, an adult film performer, "Oh, I'm sure she's never been grabbed before."
At a news conference Saturday, Jessica Drake accused Trump of grabbing and kissing her without permission and offering her money to go up to his hotel room alone a decade ago.
