Jimmy Carter: 'Unlimited Political Bribery' subverts nation.

Corporate America is simply rotten and corrupt through and through. Here we have it from the former President Jimmy Carter himself:

The United States is no longer a democracy because of "unlimited political bribery" that's created "a complete subversion of our political system as a payoff to major contributors," former President Jimmy Carter says.

In an interview on the "Thom Hartmann Program," Carter said Supreme Court cases like the 2010 Citizens United decision have turned America into an "oligarchy," where wealthy elites wield the most power.

"It violates the essence of what made America a great country in its political system," he said. "Now it's just an oligarchy, with unlimited political bribery being the essence of getting the nominations for president or to elect the president. And the same thing applies to governors and U.S. senators and Congress members."

"The incumbents, Democrats and Republicans, look upon this unlimited money as a great benefit to themselves," Carter added.
"Somebody's who's already in Congress has a lot more to sell to an avid contributor than somebody who's just a challenger."
In 2012, Carter called the Citizen United decision "the stupidest decision that the Supreme Court ever made," The Hill reported.

Is this How Hillary pays back a good turn?:

Bernie initially said that he would not say anything negative about fellow Democrats during the
campaign, and he kept his word. During the first Democratic Primary Presidential debate, he
even helped Hillary, when the subject of her e-mails was brought up, in stead of taking
advantage of the situation. Very gentlemanly of him, indeed!

Then later Hillary started attacking him personally. Well, is that her way of repaying him for
having been a gentleman? It struck me that she was the type who believes in "Win at any Price,
no holds barred" -- not a very pleasant character trait to have, in my opinion! It would have been
foolish of Bernie to continue taking it lying down under these circumstances, wouldn't it? Being
the fighter that he is, he is striking back.

Now Hillary supporters are complaining about Bernie supporters "hating Hillary" when they criticize
her. Who started the negativity first?

Do Hillary supporters see what I have written above also as "hate?" I consider it as a criticism of
Hillary, based on fact. Nobody's perfect. I don't particularly like Hillary, but I don't hate her either.
As I have stated in past posts, I will vote for her in the GE, should she beat Bernie in the Primaries.

Bernie, as president, will do far more good for the American people than Hillary can. A Republican

president in 2016, of course, might spell the beginning of Fascism in our nation.

We must all have noticed that the Main Stream Media have been very quiet about
Bernie Sanders. They report little or nothing about what he says or does. They
try their best to avoid mentioning him altogether.

Why? I think they are AFRAID of having him as an opponent in the General Election.
And the best way of not having him as an opponent is to keep him in the dark as
much and as long as possible.

On the other hand, Hillary does get mentioned in the MSM -- often. Again, Why?
The Repubs. would much rather have her as an opponent. They think she will be
easy to beat. They have so much more negative things to say about her. Repubs.
think of her as easy pickings.

Let's help stop Fascism from taking over our Government.
