may I voice a concern w/o being labeled
a concerned troll?
I understand why Boston PD did what they did in reference to house to house
searches. However Martial Law had not be declared, no search warrants
(to my knowledge) had been issued, also I have not heard if anything
was taken during these searches. IMHO this is a somewhat slippery slope.
Am I reading to much into this or not, anyone?

it isn't just in India.
COLUMBUS, Ohio Gov. John Kasich on Wednesday rejected a plea for mercy by a condemned man who says he intended to rape his girlfriends 6-month-old daughter but didnt mean to kill her.
The decision by Kasich, a Republican, upheld a unanimous recommendation by the Ohio Parole Board on April 10 to deny clemency for Steven Smith, calling his crime among the worst of the worst.

Smith took the life of an innocent 6-month-old infant while using the baby to sexually gratify himself, the board said. It is hard to fathom a crime more repulsive or reprehensible in character.
The baby, Autumn Carter, died because Smith was too drunk to realize his assault was killing her, Smiths attorneys argued in court filings with the parole board, which heard the case last week. And Ohio law is clear, they said: A death sentence requires an intent to kill the victim.

The evidence suggests that Autumns death was a horrible accident, Smiths attorneys, Joseph Wilhelm and Tyson Fleming, said in a written argument prepared for the board.
They continued: Despite the shocking nature of this crime, Steves death sentence should be commuted because genuine doubts exist whether he even committed a capital offense.

Ok ... someone find this shit bird.
The FBI has confirmed that a letter addressed to President Obama has "preliminarily tested positive" for ricin, a day after lawmakers said another letter sent to the Capitol Hill office of Sen. Roger Wicker tested positive for the same substance.
The warnings come amid a flurry of reports on suspicious packages on Capitol Hill. Fox News has learned of at least three suspicious packages or envelopes in two separate Capitol Hill office buildings, though Capitol Police now say those packages have been removed and the areas have been cleared.
snip
Both of the suspicious letters were apparently intercepted on Tuesday. They never reached the Hill or the White House.
An FBI bulletin obtained by Fox News said the letter sent to Obama is still being screened, though it initially tested positive.
The bulletin said both letters included the phrase: "To see a wrong and not expose it, is to become a silent partner to its continuance."
Both were signed, "I am KC and I approve this message."
snip
"The person that is a suspect writes a lot of letters to members," McCaskill said as she emerged from a classified briefing.
Testing is apparently still underway. The letter tested positive for ricin in a field test, but the FBI released a statement Wednesday saying tests have shown "inconsistent results" and the substance is being further analyzed.
According to a Homeland Security Department handbook, ricin is deadliest when inhaled. It is not contagious, but there is no antidote.

Four Nebraska cops were fired over an incident in which they tried their best to conceal, including beating a man and chasing his brother into a home to steal his camera all while unknowingly being recorded by another citizen from an upstairs window.
And another three officers were placed on leave and an additional officer was reassigned, according to the Associated Press.
However, Omaha Police Chief Todd Schmaderer refused to release any of the officers names, meaning they will likely get hired at another police department in the near future.
After all, as hard as it is to fire a cop, it is even harder to prevent him from getting rehired as a cop where he will likely continue his unlawful ways.
