About Me

Love to cook, Code, Build Computers, Tae Kwon Do, write, observe local fauna (sometimes at peril) and argue about interesting topics. Typical Sagittarius.

Journal Archives

Hillary's biggest problem if she gets the nomination (and it is our problem as Dems, too)

Identity Politics. I am not interested in them.

I am one hundred different things, and none of them relate to a box you can confine me in.

That probably describes plenty of folks here on DU.

I think I know the answer to this

I know it sucks to migrate a server. Try a DNS server migration and then everybody decides to do an AD migration. While on fucking vacation.

You are welcome, you heard a horror story worse than that, anything I could offer.

Need expertise and a helping hand? I'm here. I think your registrar is having replication errors and they will iron themselves out.

Helping hand, offered.

DI - I kind of like those folks - I'm glad I got the opportunity to engage with them

I wouldn't have done so if DU hadn't been down. There are some articulate and interesting people around there

Lost Girl end

Eggplant Parmesan recipe, requested

The one I am thinking about isn't fried, it is dipped in bread crumbs, baked then coated with the sauce.

Anyone know what I'm talking about? It's sort of what you would do with squash.

Flaw in the code.

I needed something positive - Swan Queen

Me with the Swan Queen again. I swear, I'm an addict.

Somebody asked 'What do you fear?'

My response:

They scare the literal crap out of me. I will flee the room the second I see one.

I am fascinated by spiders, even mice and other critters (as we all well know). But a cockroach? I'm running screaming from the building.

Critters tend to like me. I know that sounds weird, but different types of animals tend to gravitate to me, and I'm not kidding about that, but the one part where that lovely sense fails is that ... a damn cockroach will, too. It runs to me, like I'm it's best friend to shield it in a storm.

Thankfully, I don't have to deal with too many of them because I keep a pretty scrupulously clean home, but damn. They scare the HELL out of me. I abandon all dignity and run screaming.

How do I submit a photo for the contest?

I got a fantastic shot of "bells" fragrant gorgeous flowers.
