Closed my eBay store after 9 years and my sales on eBay skyrocketed.
The store was dead.
Not getting any real business anymore.
I closed it and now just list things as a regular account.
eBay gave me a bunch of free listings for some promo recently so I took advantage of them for the hell of it and listed a bunch of stuff.
Sales have gone way up for me on the wacky mix of stuff I sell/collect. Wood boxes, pens, art, glass, mid century collectibles.
I guess the stores are a search ghetto and the main listings are more featured in searches.
25 sales in August and continuing in Sept too.
4 since Monday.
Very pleasantly surprised.
Anyone have a similar experience?
