LET ME GO - A Donald Trump song parody (to the tune of LET IT GO from the movie FROZEN)

LET ME GO - A Donald Trump song parody
(to the tune of LET IT GO from the movie FROZEN)

The lights burn bright in DC tonight, Bob Mueller’s working late
He wants to put me in isolation because I’ve been so great
The press is howling, a huge building storm outside
Putin said “let’s collude,” heaven knows I've tried
Don't let them in, don't let them see
My tax returns are just for me
Conceal my steals, don't let them know
Well, now they know

Let me go, let me go
Can't hide my crimes no more
Let me go, let me go
I’ve paid off all my whores
I don't care what Congress will say
Let the press rage on
The laws never bothered me anyway

It's funny how some distance makes my hands seem so small
And my wigs and plugs hide that I don’t have any hair at all
It's time to see what I can do
To test the limits and break laws
No right, no wrong, no prison for me
Set me free
Let me go, let me go
I am Mother Russia’s guy
Let me go, let me go
Don’t make Ivanka cry
Here I sit and I’ll try to stay
Let the press rage on

My power weakens cause I want to build a wall
But now even Mexico won’t return my call
And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast
I'm going to prison, because I’ve been an ass

Let me go, let me go
Can't hide my crimes no more
Let me go, let me go
I’ve paid off all my whores
I don't care what Congress will say
Let the press rage on
The laws never bothered me anyway

Happy Holidays everyone!

MSNBC's holiday crew is asleep at the switch. Brian Williams show goes to commercial and comes back

and it's the Rachel Maddow rerun in progress at the B segment.
And then they just run the rest of the show instead of the rest of the Williams rerun they just cut off after 14 minutes.
Right now they are running the Last Word rerun in the All In rerun slot
Because that's what follows Rachel. lol
I love the holiday crews at every news station, national or local.
Always fun stuff.

What the hell is going to happen tomorrow?

So much today.
Trump seems pretty desperate to get Mueller and Russia out of the headlines and he's throwing every Hail Mary pass that he can.
What's left to happen?

Trump will shut down the government and go play golf in Florida for two weeks.

because he's a clueless idiot who doesn't realize how it looks.
Just so we can make some great campaign ads for 2020.
Thanks Trump!

Mnuchin says market reaction to Fed is 'completely overblown' (Dow is down 600 points today)

Idiot says what?
Wall Street doesn't care what he thinks.
Dow is down 600 points today
Mnuchin says market reaction to Fed is 'completely overblown'
https://www.marketwatch.com/story/mnuchin-says-market-reaction-to-fed-is-completely-overblown-2018-12-20?mod=bnbh

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said Thursday the market's negative reaction to the Fed's interest-rate hike was "completely overblown." In an interview on Fox Business Network, Mnuchin noted the central bank lowered the high-end of its projected path of rate hikes. "The Fed has said they're close to done. They said they are data dependent. So I think the market has overreacted and U.S. equities are [a] tremendous value," he said. Stocks have fallen to a 14-month low after the rate decision. Mnuchin also said his team was not worried about the impact of the Fed shrinking its balance sheet on the Treasury market. The agency is comfortable with the supply of Treasury securities and officials "don't see that really as big an issue as the market seems to be focusing on," he said.

The cable newsers are broadcasting the Lying Hour Live with Sarah Sanders again. Turned it off

when will they learn not to help spread lies live on TV?
She needs a filter and time delay

This SmartNews app thing is on my list of bullshit that can go away too.

Sick of these TV commercials.

"Oh, I was just getting my news from one source but this app lets me get "BOTH SIDES."

Fuck you fuck you fuck you SmartNews
Fuck you and you're pushing of Fox News on your app and in the commercial.

Fuck you and your false equivalence of the validity of both sides of an issue.
Just go fuck yourselves and die the death of all failed apps.

Scott Walker is pond scum.

He signed the Republican bills weakening duly elected Democrats power.
Now we have to sue and hope the courts are not as corrupt as all Republicans.
We need to unleash holy hell in 2020.
No Republicans left in office anywhere!

Syndicated columnist censored for writing about risks of hedge funds, billionaires buying newspapers

This is where we are now, America.

Syndicated columnist censored for writing about the risks of hedge funds and billionaires buying newspapers

"Jim Hightower is a longstanding, respected columnist distributed by Creators Syndicate -- but Creators refused to distribute his latest column, "Free the Free Press from Wall Street Plunderers," which warns about Wall Street vultures like Digital First Media and GateHouse Media buying up newspapers, including the Austin Statesman.

The Austin Chronicle reports that Creators wouldn't distribute the column because it feared retribution from the Wall Street firms; Creators managing editor Simone Slykhous told the Chronicle that "We have more than 200 columnists and cartoonists, and our job is to make sure that our actions do not negatively impact them."

Thankfully, the Texas Observer has run Hightower's column, the story of which is perhaps more persuasive on the risks that Hightower warns against than his column itself.

The buyers are hedge-fund scavengers with names like Digital First and GateHouse. They know nothing about journalism and care less, for they’re ruthless Wall Street profiteers out to grab big bucks fast by slashing the journalistic and production staffs of each paper, voiding all employee benefits (from pensions to free coffee in the breakroom), shriveling the paper’s size and news content, selling the presses and other assets, tripling the price of their inferior product – then declaring bankruptcy, shutting down the paper, and auctioning off the bones before moving on to plunder another town’s paper.

The Jim Hightower Column They Don’t Want You to Read
https://www.texasobserver.org/the-jim-hightower-column-they-dont-want-you-to-read/

"A two-panel cartoon I recently saw showed a character with a sign saying: “First they came for the reporters.” In the next panel, his sign says: “We don’t know what happened after that.”

It was, of course, a retort to Donald Trump’s ignorant campaign to demonize the news media as “ the enemy of the people.” But when it comes to America’s once-proud newspapers, their worst enemy is not Trump – nor is it the rising cost of newsprint or the “free” digital news on websites. Rather, the demise of the real news reporting by our city and regional papers is a product of their profiteering owners. Not the families and companies that built and nurtured true journalism, but the new breed of fast-buck hucksters who’ve scooped up hundreds of America’s newspapers from the bargain bins of media sell-offs.

By 2014, America’s two largest media chains were not venerable publishers who believe that a newspaper’s mission includes a commitment to truth and a civic responsibility, but GateHouse and Digital First, whose managers believe that good journalism is measured by the personal profit they can squeeze from it. As revealed last year in anAmerican Prospect article, GateHouse executives had demanded that its papers cut $27 million from their operating expenses. Thousands of newspaper employees suffered that $27 million cut in large part because one employee – the hedge fund’s CEO – had extracted $54 million in personal pay from the conglomerate, including an $11 million bonus.""

About ZonkerHarris

Nixon was a fucking crook. As a teenager I marched on the UN in 1982 with a million other people demanding we get rid of the threat of nuclear weapons hanging over our heads. Since then I've worked to get Democrats elected like John Aristotle Phillips, known as the A-Bomb Kid when he ran for Congress against Stuart McKinney in CT in the 80's (we lost twice) through the Obama campaign in 2008 and 2012. I want to legalize cannabis, reform our prison for profit system, cut our military budget, get out of Afghanistan and push solar energy panels into every building in the USA.
