Invisible People report- One Homeless Woman's story.

I’m a human being, but sometimes I don’t feel like one anymore,” although it’s hard to put homelessness in words, that heartbreaking statement made by Michelle comes close. She continued by saying that she doesn’t care if she’d go to jail because at least she would have a roof over her head.

I met Michelle while walking through Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles. She had just woken up from sleeping under some stairs near a hospital. Michelle said she was so cold the night before that she didn’t care if she was trespassing or not. All she owned was the clothes she was wearing. Everything else had been stolen

Trump Reportedly Orders Military To Attack Iran Before Strikes Suddenly Called Off

President Donald Trump authorized U.S. military strikes against Iran on Thursday, but officials abruptly pulled back from carrying them out just hours later, The New York Times reported.

U.S. military assets, including planes and ships, were in position during the early stages of the strike, ready to target several Iranian assets, the Times, citing senior administration officials, said. But those plans were called off before any missiles were fired. ABC News later corroborated the reports.

Dang it!

Been waiting 4 month for a mini Tripod go for my I'mphone so I can better film on my phone. It comes in, and now I need super glue for one of the legs.

Shouldn't throw to big of a fit, it cost me $2. But with what I'm trying to do now, something I have started 2 months after ordering it, this stinks.

Homeless Seniors Age Faster, Die Sooner than Housed Counterparts

A life on the street is difficult no matter who you are. To be over age 50 and homeless, however, presents a whole different set of challenges and perils. It’s fairly common for the housed elderly to live in assisted housing or have at-home care. Not only are elderly homeless individuals lacking that extra care—they fend completely for themselves.

Social support programs tend to address the well-known risk factors for homelessness. These include substance abuse and mental health problems. To help this fast-rising population, we need programs that address concerns specific to aging. This article will highlight a few of the additional hardships the aging homeless population face.

HUD proposal aims to remove undocumented immigrants from public housing

Not just Arizona. This is something that will/would impact people across the US

TUCSON- A proposal by the Trump administration could see thousands of families removed from federal housing programs, including hundreds in Arizona.

The plan would bar families from public housing if any member of the household is undocumented.

Undocumented immigrants are ineligible for benefits but can live with family members who have legal status under current rules.
