Always Low Prices, Always -- The Ironic Nature of Cross-promoting Walmart on MSNBC's Network Shows

Help me understand. Okay, so Beyoncé dropping $37,500 at a Walmart in $50 gift cards is a "Good Thing", while the employees at the Walmart are in many cases receiving government assistance for making substandard wages?

Well, according to Joy-Ann Reid who sub-hosted msnbc Melissa Harris-Perry show today, this is like the "FREAKING BEST THING EVER!" So, I assume the network and Ms. Reid are A-Okay now with the Walmart Employees making substandard wages because Beyonce graced her presence at one of the retailers' Massachusetts stores.

And some folks think MSNBC is everything but a Corporately Owned Publicly Traded Network owned by Comcast.

Food for Thought Quote of the Day-

Duck Dynasty Phil Robertson Remarks on LGBT, African-Americans Proves Free Speech Has Consequences

"Words matter. In America we have a presumed right to free speech. Presumed is the correct word as free speech has consequences, albeit temporarily."

Yelling fire in a crowded theatre will likely result in criminal charges for using such a word. Committing insubordination against a supervisor usually ends with the employee without a job.

Reality television instant celebrity Phil Robertson decided to practice his version of Free Speech in a upcoming January 2014 interview in G.Q. or Gentlemen Quarterly Magazine.

While speaking freely to G.Q's reporter Robertson disparaged the LGBT and African-American communities with his words.

Speaking on his opposition to the LGBT lifestyle or sexual preferences, Robertson said the following:

“Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men,” Robertson expressed to G.Q. reporter Drew Magary. “Don’t be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers—they won’t inherit the kingdom of God. Don’t deceive yourself. It’s not right.”

Robertson carried on to explain the inherent differences between a male and female biological make up: “It seems like, to me, a vagina—as a man—would be more desirable than a man’s anus. That’s just me. I’m just thinking: There’s more there! She’s got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I’m saying? But hey, sin: It’s not logical, my man. It’s just not logical.”

Duck Dynasty Robertson carried on, throwing African-Americans under the big Louisiana bus:

In a quote that may raise even more eyebrows than his feelings about gays, Robertson claims he "never" saw black people mistreated during the pre-civil rights era in his home state, and strongly suggests that African Americans were more content under Jim Crow.

"Where we lived was all farmers. The blacks worked for the farmers. I hoed cotton with them. I'm with the blacks, because we're white trash," he said. "They're singing and happy. I never heard one of them, one black person, say, ‘I tell you what: These doggone white people’—not a word!... Pre-entitlement, pre-welfare, you say: Were they happy? They were godly; they were happy; no one was singing the blues.”

Robertson words were insulting and frankly distasteful. Still, Robertson had a right to say each and every one of the syllables expressed in long and extended paragraphs. Equality, Robertson's publicly traded cable broadcast network employer, A&E, had every right to terminate the Duck Dynasty patriarch contract as a result of his words.

America -- The Land of the Beautiful, Duck Dynasty and other "Beliefs"

So Phil Roberson in the statements heard across the World or better yet....all over American Media -- and ironically in magazine named "Gentleman's Quarterly" said this (warning the language is -- thought provoking to say the least):

“Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men,” he tells reporter Drew Magary. “Don’t be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers—they won’t inherit the kingdom of God. Don’t deceive yourself. It’s not right.”

He also muses rather colorfully about his own sexual orientation: “It seems like, to me, a vagina—as a man—would be more desirable than a man’s anus. That’s just me. I’m just thinking: There’s more there! She’s got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I’m saying? But hey, sin: It’s not logical, my man. It’s just not logical.”

And to throw the LGBT along with the African-American community under Phil's BIG DUCK BUS, he fixes his mouth to say this next:

OKAY, enough with the BS. Here's the truth on Phil and the Duck Crew. The joke is on all of us:

America -- The Land of the Easily Fooled.

Were Celebrities are Worshiped by SOME for "Acting Poor".

Were Race Relations matters are Swept far and deep under the rug.

Were people dream of being RICH but never will get there because the game is fixed.

Were SOME think we are better than any other country anywhere.

Were God's name, image or words are used in Vain on a regular purpose.

Were political gamesmanship is a Power Grab with the winner TBD, temporarily until other Americans jump on the "bandwagon" of the other guy or gal.

America -- The Beautiful!

Phil, Sister Sarah Palin and the Ducks got schooled in the Media P.R. Game by the best of the best.

Fake Hollywood C.E.O.'s.
