Here is a good DU link

http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1091&pid=596

The whole thread is informative, but this one post, should you read and understand, would make you smarter and less bombastic.

What I feel happened is that in states where Romney was sure to win, many votes were switched from Obama.

We know in 2008 the turnout smoked the theft

This time turnout was lower. But this time we were all over Rove's ass and he didn't make a move but we were watching.

So, Obama won by 51% - 47%. Really, switch 2% of the votes and Romney is the winner! (For every vote moved it means two votes)

Now this thread is about the Obama team having polling that showed the commercial polls were ridiculous. How ridiculous? I'd bet Obama actually won by 10%, meaning he won 55% of the vote. But he ended up at 51%! That means it could be that at least 4% of the votes were moved from Obama to Romney.

If what the Obama team says is true, that the polls were crazy, then they know just how much was stolen.

Obama did say just before the election that he was gonna try and repair the system. Obama knows he got ripped off. He knows.

Big Post. E-voting, HAVA and Germany

Thanks Onyx, that is a wonderful addition to the discussion.

Welcome to our nightmare

We have been called names, told we were crazy, etc.

But all along we have recognized that our election systems are open to being hacked. Ever since HAVA in 2002. Ten long years.

We saw evidence of the hacks in 2004, the first Presidential election after HAVA. And since then we have felt our democracy being stolen. We feared it again this time. It appears as though something, somebody, somehow, someway kept a huge hack from occurring. This time.

Anyway, it is good to see people coming around to our realization that it IS possible for elections to be hacked. That is what we have been seeking. From here on, hopefully the name calling will end, and we can all work together to build a system that raises ALL of our confidence levels.

Possible Path To E-Vote Theft

And how Anonymous blocked Rove out.

Note that Rove was in denial about the Ohio totals, showing that he did not believe what the official state numbers were showing, because he thought he had it setup for his own numbers to be coming in

****************

On each county election office computer are read/write pages showing vote totals.
(Read/write means that you can write to that screen and read what was written and rewrite it so that it reads different. On DU you are working with a read/write program.)

As the numbers are entered at county level, a networked computer reads the numbers and can change those numbers at will. The data entry person at the county computer is updating so much that they can't keep track of any changes.

If the count is from a DRE -- Direct Recording Electronic -- there is no data entry person. The numbers are written from one networked computer to another without any human oversight.

OpScan numbers are also transferred electronically: from a read/write memory stick.

So, there is a Rove operated networked computer with a human sitting there looking at the numbers coming in and editing those numbers as the person sees fit. Those new numbers are sent over the network to the county computers, changing those numbers sight unseen. It doesn't even have to be a human, it could be a computer program reading and writing.

****************

What Anonymous claims to have done is place an administrative password on the network system keeping the person at the Rove keyboard from logging in (much like you log in to DU) thereby stopping Rove's people from accessing the network.

Simple explanation to ORCA?

ORCA is a program that places itself into the stream that networks county and state election computers. When ORCA is working it is connected to each county election computer.

At each county computer are read/write pages showing vote totals.
(Read/write means that you can write to that screen and read what was written and rewrite it so that it reads different. On DU you are working with a read/write program. Simply, it is called editable.)

So as the numbers are entered at county level, ORCA reads the numbers and changes those numbers at will. The data entry person at the county computer is updating so much that they can't keep track of the changes.

If the count is from a DRE -- Direct Recording Electronic -- there is no data entry person. The numbers are written from one computer to another without any human sight.

OpScans numbers are also transferred electronically from a red/write memory stick.

So, there is ORCA with a human sitting there looking at the numbers coming in and editing those numbers as the person sees fit. Those new numbers are sent over the network to the county computers. Changing those numbers sight unseen. It doesn't even have to be a human, it could be a computer program reading and writing.

What Anon claims to have done is place an administrative password on the ORCA system keeping the person at the ORCA keyboard from logging in (much like you log in to DU) thereby stopping ORCA for accessing the network and rewriting the numbers on the county and state computers.

Te following article from the St. Pete Times details election officials not being able to publish its results until 16 minutes after the polls were closed in one Florida county that prides itself on being the first to upload its data to the web.

Damaging Low Level Radiation Report in LBN Link

http://www.democraticunderground.com/1014304209

A new report examines the effects of low level radiation on life.

No telling what radiation blasted into the atmosphere is doing.
Surely it can't be good.

Interesting

#1 is right. To expose the truth would be to call into question the whole electoral process. So that won't happen. Any political person who did would be dead meat.

I feel Obama knew/knows. How could he not? So he had top secret people covertly working this issue. NSA types.

Overtly there were a number of press items that seemingly, randomly came out in the weeks before the election. Really, the most dense coverage I have seen in years of attention. That was no accident. It was planned.

What all of it did was identify the players and send them the message that they were being followed and they had best play their best game ever or risk being exposed.

So any theft was minor and Obama has in effect cut a deal. Not that we won't see a few perps get some time, but pretty much it's 'back to the shadows' with the E-vote.

However... if the people continue to clamor for reform, it will be done. It has been a grassroots effort all along and has had great success.
