The preacher that got pissed off is upset because he believes the foundation of Christianity and God's purpose is for people to hold onto their faith even through their suffering. To me, this is sick. This is like staying in a marriage where you are abused, neglected, tormented, just because you're supposed to, just to prove you're worthy of existence. Screw that and screw any God who can't do better than that. Where is the comfort in such a religion? Such concepts provide a model for sick relationships. I reject this crap. GET THEE BEHIND ME!

Trump is the most powerless president ever...

If you listen to the right wing media, that is. I found this infuriating article in my local paper.

Apparently Obama is the MOST powerful president ever because even though he left office more than 3 years ago, he is responsible for everything that goes wrong in the nation while Trump holds office. Trump, on the other hand, is the least powerful president because even though he's been in office more than 3 years now, Obama is still in control of everything.

As a matter of fact, Republican presidents of the last 30 years have been mighty impotent, according to the right.

quid pro quo. Is that why King Trump has abandoned our treaties and allies? Because he couldn't profit financially or politically? Could we find a quid pro quo in all of the devastating decisions he made for America? It wouldn't surprise me.
