As an A-level and IGCSE teacher in China, these results are to be expected. The education here is to teach to a test. Same when I was in Korea. All students are taught to a test.

Chinese schools do not fail students. Lowest grade a kid can get is a 70. If they get lower, they keep taking the same test until they pass it, then that score is recorded. The schools encourage teachers (usually with classes of 60 - 70) to teach to only the kids who care and are not asleep in class. Social promotion is the norm, as is lying about grades. All that matters in China is Gao Kao. The Chemistry teacher in my school goes nuts because they cannot conceptualize a simple chemistry concept. I teach Geography and History. Same in my classes, especially history.

I taught in the crappiest public school in Hebei province and now in one of the best international school in Suzhou. Education in Asia teaches to to a test. They are some of the best test takers in the world. Knowledge retention, conceptual development, abstract thinking, critical analysis and innovation are impossible for most students here. Yes. . .because naming a public outhouse is more important than dealing with issues that are destroying the planet, country and the economy.

And everyone knows sexual assaults aren’t real because she was wearing a tight skirt. Besides, she won’t get pregnant because the body has protections and shut-off valves in case of legitimate rape. And everyone know no rape is legitimate.

Their approval rating is five points higher than crotch rot and they earned every point of it. Worst. Congress. Ever!

Professionally, he’s past his prime. But he still gives off that Orange Goodness through those massive tear stains on his face.

"We fully respect an employee's right to not work on a holiday, which is why the vast majority of Pizza Huts in America are closed on Thanksgiving," the corporate office said in a statement. "As a result, we strongly recommended that the local franchisee reinstate the store manager and they have agreed. We look forward to them welcoming Tony back to the team."

Thank God this has a happy ending. Still, how many of Rohr’s bosses will be fired for this shit? I guess none.

Now, American people won’t have to listen to how a nominees for the bench needs to be blocked because some old, white, fat Republican senator feels slighted because his viagra isn’t working or his mistress didn’t have sex with him the night before or just because it’s Tuesday.

What makes it worse is people like this want stiffer punishments for drug offenders.

So how can he be trespassing when he works there?

Trespassing at your place of business? My God, do these cops even read the law? Apparently not.

So Sampson’s boss set up cameras. Not to protect his store, but to protect his employee. What did this camera show?

Wow. An arrest looking for a crime without the pretense of probable cause. And the police and badge sniffers around the country wonder why people don’t trust the boys in blue!

So what do city officials and the police say about this obviously police abuse and gross misconduct?

He added that members of the chapter feared retaliation.

Living in China part 1 - Basic Chinese language lesson

Six years in the PRC, I am pretty much fluent in the language. Still working on the writing part of the language, but speaking and reading is pretty good now.

In China, if you can read about 1,000 characters, you can read a newspaper with ease. So, let's begin with the lesson.

Writing Chinese is rather simple. I will use Simplified Mandarin because I am on the Mainland and not in Taiwan or Hong Kong.

There are three basic rules:

01: Left before right
02: Top before bottom
03: Outside before inside

Let's take a simple character 口. That's "kou," and it means mouth or opening.

To write it correctly it's very simple.

01: write the left down stroke first.
02. write the top stroke and the right down stroke next without lifting the pen
03. fill in the box.

Let's take another. 江 which means "river." This is jiang (pronounced gee-on-guh).

01: write the three dashes first top to bottom
02: write the top stroke
03: write the downward stroke
04: write the bottom stroke

Stroke order is extremely important in the language. Trust me, Chinese people can tell if the character was written in the correct order by looking at it. It's a bit frustrating for beginners, but you pick it up quickly.

Practice with these ten simple one:

见 - jian, means look
十, shi (pronounced sure), means ten
太, tai (pronounced tie), abverb too
火, huo (pronounced who-oh), means fire
公, gong, means public
女, nv (the v should be a u with an umlaut over it), means woman
三, san, means three
小, xiao (pronounced she-ow)， means small
大, da, means big
园, yuan, means garden

Mandarin is not a difficult language, except for the tones. The thing is, when people talk, I don't hear the tones at all. I just hear the speaking. What makes it easier is context. If someone is talking about men, 男 (nan) means man. They don't mean 南 (nan) which means south.

It is getting colder here in Suzhou. What is amazing is the sea convection currents around here. Shanghai, no matter the weather conditions, during the day, is always five degrees warmer than here in Suzhou, which is less than 30 miles away.

Sometimes, the rush to be first isn’t always the best way to run a news media outfit. Because in the rush to be first, usually the responsiblity to be correct is thrown into the trashcan. 60 Minutes is proof of that. Last week, 60 minutes ran a nice little “Screw Obama” piece on the right wing’s favorite manfactured scandal, Benghazi. Of course, right wing idiots everywhere watched this piece Lara Logan ran and then promptly blew their wad over their photos of Rush Limbaugh, Ted Cruz and Sarah Palin (not that there’s anything wrong with that. . .right loser in Virginia Ken Cuccinelli).

They have Obama by the short hairs now. Time to put the Communist, Socialist, Fascist, Black Empowerment Kenyan to sleep forever! IMPEACHMENT TIME!!! Climb on the High Crimes and Misdermeanors bandwagon.

Everything was going smoothly until some guys, a know nothing named Dylan Davies, threw water on the fire and began to ruin all of the right wing’s Obama slamming buzz. This is important because he is the man source of this story.

The contradictions between the versions offered in the incident report and what was presented on television and in the book —Mr. Davies appeared on the program and wrote the book under the pseudonym Morgan Jones — have led to questions about how “60 Minutes” came to present Mr. Davies as a credible source for its extensive report on the Benghazi incident.

The incident report described Mr. Davies as remaining at the villa he occupied in Libya and not getting to the scene on the night of the attack. In the version he wrote in his book and gave to “60 Minutes,” Mr. Davies said he left the villa that night to visit a hospital, where he said he saw the body of the deceased ambassador, J. Christopher Stevens, and twice rushed to the scene of the attack.

Umm. . .him. So, the source of this piece never wrote it and never said it? Really? No matter, he’s just one source. Surely, it’s not all bad.

The report comes as CBS News discloses that a "journalistic review" of the heavily criticized October 27 segment, which featured a since-discredited "witness" and promoted his book on the attacks without disclosing that the book was published by a CBS division. CBS has declined to explain who is conducting that review, how it is being conducted, and whether its findings will be public.

During the segment, correspondent Lara Logan made a number of claims about the attack and its perpetrators, often sourced only with the statement "e have learned" or with nothing at all. McClatchy News Middle East Bureau Chief Nancy Youssef's reporting suggests that these claims were also inaccurate. Given that the report's sources included a man whose account CBS News has already acknowledged was fraudulent, it's fair to question the sourcing of other claims in the report.

A full, complete, and independent investigation of the segment could provide answers to these and other questions about CBS News' reporting.

"In this case, we were wrong. We made a mistake," she said on "CBS This Morning." "That's disappointing for any journalist. It's very disappointing for me."

A primary source for the "60 Minutes" report on October 27 was a security contractor using the pseudonym "Morgan Jones," later identified as Dylan Davies. Davies told CBS he was able to reach the Benghazi compound on the night of September 11, 2012, scale a wall and even fight off a militant.

Questions need to be asked. Questions like “what drugs are these people smoking” and “how much do prescription IQ blockers and stupid pills cost” and “why give the lead journalist of this story this Obama slamming mix when she’s married to a Bush boot licker? Isn’t this a massive conflict of interest” need to be asked.

Logan and Burkett were both married to other people when they became involved, and the story of their war-zone love affair—complete with reports of a brawl between Burkett and CNN's Michael Ware, another rival for Logan's affections—lit up the tabloids at the time.

"What most people don’t know, however, is the nature of Burkett’s work in Iraq. He was an employee of the Lincoln Group, a now-shuttered “strategic communications and public relations firm” hired by the Department of Defense in 2005 to plant positive stories written by American soldiers in Baghdad newspapers during the Iraq War.

“He did information operations,” one former colleague of Burkett's told Gawker. “It was really spooky stuff. We worked with one of those special spooky IO outfits that didn’t even have a unit patch.” It's the kind of work for which a close relationship with an American network correspondent might come in handy.

And it paid handsomely. Under an “indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract,” the Pentagon promised the Lincoln Group up to $100,000,000 to assist the military’s Joint Psychological Operations with controlling local media coverage of the American occupation. The Lincoln Group later became the target of congressional and Defense Department investigators over its handling of U.S. cash and its propaganda tactics."

In an interview with CNN late last month, Graham had cited the Davies interview while repeating his threat to block all of the president's nominations until survivors of the Benghazi attack testified before Congress.

"No, my request has been going on for a year to talk to the survivors," Graham insisted. "I never asked for the British contractor. I didn't know he existed."

On the November 11 edition of CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley, correspondent Sharyl Attkisson reported on supposed "security risks" surrounding the law's exchange website, HealthCare.gov. Host Scott Pelley alleged that the project manager in charge of building the site "was apparently kept in the dark about serious failures in the website's security." Pelley speculated that this could eventually lead to "identity theft among people buying insurance.":

The basis for this report was a "partial transcript" obtained by CBS correspondent Attkisson and provided to her by House Oversight Chairman Rep. Issa.

CBS News reported Thursday that leaked versions sent out by the GOP last Friday had visible differences than Wednesday's official batch. Two correspondences that were singled out in the report came from National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes and State Department Spokeswoman Victoria Nuland.

The GOP version of Rhodes' comment, according to CBS News: "We must make sure that the talking points reflect all agency equities, including those of the State Department, and we don't want to undermine the FBI investigation."

The White House email: "We need to resolve this in a way that respects all of the relevant equities, particularly the investigation."

So, let’s recap:

Apparently, when he spoke at the Freedom Works Idiot Convention, he took offense that someone stated the racist idea about Hispanics being uninformed or deceived. Can’t say that to Daddy Cruz. He’s Latino. So, how did he respond to this racism? Why, with even more racism.

Ted Cruz (R-Texas), called black and Hispanic voters “uninformed” and “deceived" during a speech to conservative activists in February.

After attending a panel on minority outreach at the Freedom Works grassroots summit, Cruz, a Cuban-American, born-again Christian, spoke at the conference. He noted that a previous speaker "mentioned something about Hispanics being uninformed or deceived."

"Well, the same thing is true of the black population,” Cruz said.

Cruz also suggested how blacks and Hispanics should vote. “As a matter of fact, if we could communicate the truth, not only to the Hispanics but to the black population, all blacks should be Republican," he said.

Again. . .(speechless).

Cruz finished his speech by shitting on a Koran, pissing on a photo of Malcolm X and flipping off the first black person he founded not named Allen West, screaming something about Jesus and Castro. I don’t know. . .who give’s a rat’s ass? This 80 year old fossil gets too much press anyway.

Issa claimed in his release, sent after 7 p.m. on Veterans Day, that the official in charge of running the health care exchanges -- or the "Federal Facilitated Marketplaces" -- found it "disturbing" to have not seen a Sept. 3 memo that seemed to indicate six security risks, including two deemed to be high.

Indeed, Henry Chao, the deputy chief information officer and deputy director of the Office of Information Services at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), acknowledged in a Nov. 1 interview with Issa's committee investigators that it was “disturbing” he hadn't seen the memo and appeared to have been excluded.

But Democratic committee staff pointed out that the memo talks about two specific systems: the "Qualified Health Plans (QHP) and Dental modules." CMS told the Oversight Committee that the relevant parts of those programs will not be online until the spring, meaning they actually pose no security risk now, Democrats said. On top of that, the systems flagged as potentially posing a risk will be used by insurance companies and will not transmit people's personal information, they said.

No. . .this can’t be true. I mean, Issa was CBS’s source for a story after the Benghazi bullshit blew up in their face.

Since the House voted in 2012 to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt, the pattern of disregard for the rule of law and refusal to be forthright has only continued," Texas Representative Pete Olson, who drafted the articles, said in a statement provided to Reuters on Wednesday.

"The American people deserve answers and accountability. If the attorney general refuses to provide answers, then Congress must take action."

The Justice Department did not respond to requests for comment on the possibility of an impeachment move.

They are not specific on which laws he broke. . .nor do they seem to notice that Bush and Cheney broke the “rule of law” constantly as Prez and Veep. Pete Olsen seems to forget something simple. . .this will never pass the Senate and will be viewed as just another witchhunt. Gohmert agreed that “Obamacare wasn’t just about health care” and pointed to a section of the Affordable Care Act that created the Ready Reserve Corps to “assist full-time Commissioned Corps personnel to meet both routine public health and emergency response missions.”

While FactCheck.org has debunked conspiracy theories that claimed the health care law gave “Obama a Nazi-like ‘private army’ of 6,000 people,” Gohmert still believed there could be evil lurking behind the Ready Reserve Corps.

According to a spokeswoman for Moms Demand Action (MDA), the moms were inside the Blue Mesa Grill when members of Open Carry Texas (OCT) — an open carry advocacy group — “pull up in the parking lot and start getting guns out of their trunks.” The group then waited in the parking lot for the four MDA members to come out. The spokeswoman said that the restaurant manager did not want to call 911, for fear of “inciting a riot” and waited for the gun advocates to leave. The group moved to a nearby Hooters after approximately two hours.

Inciting a riot? When there are 40 gun totting nut-jobs outside terrorizing unarmed mothers having lunch? That could never happen. Is there a photo of these “patriots?”

So just to clarify, Limbaugh insists that the message of Obamacare is this: "If you like your risky, promiscuous lifestyle, you can keep it. That's what Obama is promising."

I have never intentionally done so.” “When I wrote scientific papers, I sometimes had statements with eight footnotes for one sentence. Is that what you want me to do for my speeches? "Most of all, we think the fighting spirit he has become known for is a perfect fit for Breitbart News Network and reflects that of our founder, Andrew Breitbart.” Paul announced a "restructuring" of his office on Tuesday following the latest plagiarism allegation that he copied parts of a September column for The Washington Times. He said he and his aides would treat future Paul publications "like college papers" that footnote sources. He also has been accused of lifting parts of two speeches from other publications.

Never mind Mike Lee, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz all saying they would shutdown the government and put the US into default to get Obamacare killed. In addition to that, John McCain and Lindsay Graham continue their march towards irrelevancy (5), Marsha Blackburn wants to protect people’s right to buy cheap shoes (!) (7) and John Stossel proves his mustache is the smartest thing on his body (10). Finally, a contraversial entry to the list that will probably make a few people angry, but when a Democrat is wrong, they need to be called on it, and Diane Feinstein is completely wrong (2). The Civil War grows. It takes on all people and and tears apart all things. A once proud political party steeped in principles and ideas has come down to being in an argument as to which side will control. . .the conservative side, the wingnut side or the insane side. There should be pity for this party, but honestly, most people with a brain would have more pity for a killed off cancer cell than the GOP’s march to Whig Party status.

We start this week looking former GOP presidential candidate and Pennsylvania Senator Lil’ Ricky Santorum (R-Frothy Mix) who went on Meet the Press and complained that, because of the Tea Party, the GOP is now completely leaderless and that the hours of mindless Ted Talk did more harm than good.

Ted Cruz (R-TX) did the Republican party no favors during the federal government shutdown. Santorum, the former U.S. senator from Pennsylvania and Republican presidential candidate, said Sunday that Cruz, in his attempt to gut President Barack Obama's health care law, "did more harm" than good. "I think it was not his objective," Santorum said during an appearance on NBC News' Meet the Press. "I think his objective was a laudable one. I think he didn't do a very good job in planning it out. I mean, there's one thing to have a goal, and another thing to have a plan to get you to that goal, and he didn't figure that out."

This was on NBC with perennial soft-ball tosser David Gregory. Shocked doesn’t begin to describe how one should feel. Gregory than asked Ricky (R-Lame Sweaters) about the State of the GOP.

How would rank and file Republicans take to this news that one of their tea party psychopaths might be having second thoughts? Not well, and I warn you to get soap and lye before viewing that link. Here are a few coments:

02: Santorum needs to shut up and go away. He is a blowhard loser has been.

03: And yet, as some of us tried to point out.....time and time and time again...this is who Santorum is. He’s not that smart. He’s not that talented. He’s not that reliable. Never has been.04: This is where some conservatives go off the rails...an I suspect the same ones off the rails with Huck in 08 (you know who you are) were off with Ricky in 12. Thumping the Bible the loudest and the most often does not mean you are the best conservative....NEVER has meant that. I say that, and I’m a Bible beleiving Reagan Tea Party base type conservative....

Alot of these crap can be put on the shoulders of three men: Rug Doctor Rand Paul, Texas uber-loon Ted Cruz and Utah gasbag Mike Lee. The latter, Mr. Lee, has decided to tell people on the right what they want to hear: That self-delusional pablum that makes good fiction and even better horror for anyone not on the right and with at least a 1/4 of a functional brain (which is about 80% of the country). Please proceed, “Senator.” And I use that phrase very loosely. “Scumsucker” would be be better three syllable title for Mike Lee.

Mike Lee said Tuesday that the turmoil he and others have fomented in the Republican Party is all part of a Reaganesque revolution that will return the GOP to its glory days. “The gaping hole in the middle of the Republican party today, the one that separates the grass roots from the establishment leaders, is precisely the size and shape of a new unifying conservative reform agenda,” Lee said in a speech Tuesday at the Heritage Foundation. “The establishment will not produce that agenda.” In the speech entitled “What’s Next for Conservatives,” Lee characterized his leading role in the government shutdown as part of a touchstone moment for Republicans fed up with party leaders who have strayed too far from conservative ideals.

So, now he’s Ronnie Raygun? Soon, the media will call him the messiah, the second coming of Jesus. I’ll respond to Lee’s question “What’s next for conservatives.” LOSING MORE ELECTIONS, just like the one you lost in New Jersey.

Still, all is not lost. Maybe old guard Republicans can get together with old guard Republicans and see eye to eye. Mike Enzi of Wyoming thinks that because Enzi recalled that the two bonded over fly-fishing, when they “were on the same team competing in a popular annual One Fly tournament – fishing with the same fly lure all day – in the Snake River.” Wow, that sounds fun (it is. I love fly fishing). Sadly, Dick Cheney (R-Death Star) [http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2013/10/dick-cheney-slams-sen-mike-enzi-on-fundraising-says-they-arent-fishing-buddies/|recall it that way] at all.

He doesn’t get much money from Wyoming,” Cheney told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on “This Week” Sunday. “In the quarter just reported, Liz got 25 percent of her funds from Wyoming; he got 13 percent of his from Wyoming. She outraised him in the last quarter, over a million dollars in the first quarter out there.” Cheney also took Enzi to task for reportedly saying that the pair are fishing buddies. “Mike also said he and I are fishing buddies, which is simply not true. Never happened,” Cheney said.

Relax, Mike of Fatland. . .maybe Dick will take you hunting when his daughter’s campaign sinks. We all know he loves to hunt.

But, as civil wars go, this one gets funnier by the minute. On Oct 16th, 27 GOP senators broke ranks with their party (meaning there are really only 18 tea party toads in the Senate) can voted to raise the debt ceiling. This is good. They came to their senses. Well, not quite.

And each one of those 27 senators voted Tuesday to "disapprove" of their own votes. The vote Tuesday was a symbolic "resolution to disapprove" of the debt limit hike. It was mandated by the deal thanks to a last-minute provision inserted by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY). The motion failed 45-54 because all Democrats opposed it.

Umm, what? Why? Is this shit really necessary? So, other than rank hypocrisy, we have a side of stupid and meaningless to go. How does this party get votes at all???

One of those Republicans that “disapproved” their vote after voting is Lamar Alexander (R-Who). He voted for the disapproval of his vote to increase the debt limit because he’s tired of the tea party and wants the GOP to be part of the [line:http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/10/26/lamar-alexander-tea-party_n_4166442.html|I'm In The Take-Charge-Of-The-Government Crowd]. What?

Like voting to disapprove a vote you made? This works. Why do we know about this crap at all?

Later in August, he received a letter from 20 tea party and conservative groups, asking him to retire, while criticizing his "compromise and bipartisanship."

Oh, I see. Time to make yourself look better to those who aren’t frothing at the mouth psychopaths. Those same psychopaths will primary your ass next year, Lamar. Better start pandering because your power is more important than the country.

Interestingly enough, the party is falling apart. Why, down in North Carolina, it seems GOP candidates are dropping like flies and switching parties. Jason Thigpen is running against complete loser Walter Jones who, amazingly enough, switched his party from Democratic to Republican in 1994 after losing in a Democratic primary in 1992, according to Wikipedia.

I have to agree with Rick Santorum. The GOP is leaderless. Except if you count Mike Lee, Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, Eric Cantor, Paul Ryan and Rush Limbaugh. But those are leaders that will lead the GOP down the toilet.

And most on DU support 95% of Ralph Nader’s positions (except he enabled the Chimp to steal the election in 2000 and the rest is sad history). But, Dianne Feinstein deserves recognition this week for her blazing support of George Bush era policies on spying on Americans.

We first begin with her attempts to torpedo Patrick Leahy’s bill to stop the NSA from spying on American citizens. DiFi is all for warrantless spying on Americans. Strike #1, Senator.

Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), the chairwoman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, argued that the phone data program is critical for protecting national security. "I will do everything I can to prevent this program from being canceled," Feinstein said during the hearing.

National Security? Give me a break. Terrorist in the toilet these days like Communists in the toilet in the 1920s and 1950s. Who are you, Palmer and McCarthy?

What is the reason for trying to torpedo any attempt to end this illegal snooping by the NSA? Well, because according to DiFi, it’s not surveillance.

Feinstein made the case for retaining the program, which routinely collects and stores the phone records millions of Americans, in an op-ed for USA Today, in which she wrote that the NSA’s work had been “effective in helping to prevent terrorist plots against the US and our allies”. Feinstein, a Democrat from California, is introducing legislation that would make superficial alterations to the NSA and the secret courts that are supposed to provide judicial oversight. But her bill stops short of making any substantial changes to the way the agency conducts its work, despite the string of revelations based on disclosures by the former NSA contractor Edward Snowden.

How is it not surveillance, DiFi? Tell all Americans how? The government can tap our phones, read our emails. . .I’m surprised the government doesn’t force people to submit stool and urine samples these days (wait, they do if you are on welfare). Her committee is drafting legislation to codify the phone records program, the existence of which was leaked in June by National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden. The legislation would grant the agency explicit authority to gather records listing the numbers, duration and time of all U.S. telephone calls, but not their content.

Cheney said that the intelligence gathered on foreign leaders and other countries is valuable to help the government address various issues. "We do collect a lot of intelligence. Without speaking about any particular target or group of targets, that intelligence capability is enormously important to the United States, to our conduct in foreign policy, to defense matters, economic matters, and I'm a strong supporter of it," Cheney said.

Congrats, Senator. . .you can the heartless cyborg agree with each other. Snooping should be done on Americans and on foreign leaders too. Hell, I think, right now in Ottawa, Stephen Harper is planning to attack the US with another William Shatner. The president should be required to approve any collection of this sort,” Feinstein said. The NSA’s foreign spying activities have come under close scrutiny in recent days, after documents leaked by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden revealed the agency had eavesdropped on the cell phones of at least 35 leaders of foreign governments, possibly including German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Feinstein said “the Senate Intelligence Committee was not satisfactorily informed” of the NSA’s policy of spying on allied leaders and that “a total review of all intelligence programs” is in order.

Ummm. . .what? Now you’re against snooping, so long as it’s done against foreigners and foreign leaders? Why? Because she is totally opposed to it.

"Therefore our oversight needs to be strengthened and increased."

Last week, the GOP decided it’s time to screw the poor even more by gutting the food assistance program known as SNAP. Nothing helps an economy or people than starving them to death because the price of food has sky rocketed.

But the Republicans love this idea.

The cuts are coming because the President’s fiscal stimulus of 2009 is running out and Republicans have no intention to extend the food assistance because besides killing Americans’ jobs, keeping people hungry is their favorite activity.

Break out the Filet Mignon, the Caviar and the top notch vodka. Oh, and call in some top flight hookers and maybe a few celebrities, because after we’re done fucking the country, we need to get our rocks off!

The Oklahoma senator reportedly listed a few other Democrats in addition to Schumer that he works well with.

So, now Harry Reid is an absolute asshole? Now, I have my issues with Harry Reid dealing with his jelly like spine, but I don’t feel, as do many people, that he is an asshole. He strikes most people as a rather laid back, easy going, sweet man who has been put in a tough position of dealing with three or four political ideologies at once. He is like Eisenhower during WW2.

In so doing, it completely leaves out human contributions to global warming. At a discussion yesterday, the Omaha World-Herald Bureau reports, Barbara Mayes, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service, pointed out that “cyclical” isn’t even a scientific term. And it’s not just a misuse of language: State Sen. Beau McCoy, who added the word to the bill, is a known climate denier. “I don’t subscribe to global warming,” McCoy said during an earlier debate about the legislation. ”I think there are normal, cyclical changes.”

Damn those internets. They really screw people up. Look what happened up in Minnesota this week. The Chisago County Republican Party decided to use the internet to slam abortion. And in the process, they exposed their repressed klanhoods.

Don't buy one." The posting was left on the site much of Wednesday morning. By early Wednesday afternoon, it had been taken down with no explanation. By late Wednesday afternoon, it appeared the local party unit's Facebook page had also disappeared. A Facebook message to the group went unanswered as did calls to the group's chairman. The posting earned national attention on social media and beyond. Radio host Ed Schultz drew attention to it online and DFL Chairman Ken Martin called on his Republican counterpart to repudiate the posting.

So they posted this racist shitburger for all to see and then prompted delete it and go completely AWOL in explaining themselves? I don’t believe the posting was that bad.

There has to be someone in the Republican Party of Chisago County that will come out and say something. . .anything:
