Here....start your day off with this.

http://nerdist.com/this-triple-domino-spiral-will-be-the-most-satisfying-thing-you-watch-all-day/

Watching videos of dominos falling can be one of the most mesmerizing things ever. There’s just something about watching a unique pattern or incredibly long line of dominos fall just right that is bizarrely satisfying. People can spend hours and even days making elaborate domino patterns, all to ultimately destroy their work in one fell swoop. But often times the fall is just as impressive as the initial build.

Domino artist Hevesh5 makes domino patterns that are just like that—impressive when they’re built up, and even more impressive as they fall. Hevesh5 used 15,000 dominos and put in around 25 hours of work spread over eight days to create an amazing triple spiral domino pattern. As Gizmodo explains, despite the long hours put in to the initial build, it takes just under two minutes for the entire thing to come crumbling down.

Ah....I feel so zen-like now.

When is the President's next campaign speech?

Because I think his walkup music should be MC Hammer's "Too Legit To Quit."

Media execs decide not to post Trump hotel pics

For those who can't watch right now. Photographers were allowed to go on the hotel tour, but an ABC editorial journalist was "restrained" and not allowed on the tour. Network bureau chiefs got together and agreed not to publish any of the pictures, though a couple have been tweeted out. Like the Made in China bathrobe.

Not sure how many media outlets signed on to this. We shall see.

I hope the media gets pissed

Over this boondoggle. He duped them and I hope they feel foolish by taking the bait. They (the media) touted this "event" as Trump addressing his birther stance.

Now, if they cut away, they will be criticized for not covering the veterans speeches and thereby ignoring their issues. So damned if they do and dames if they don't.

Pretty good media manipulation by the Trump campaign. And, I don't mean that as a compliment.

Oddly creative ways.

Four years ago, I chucked a decades long career in government consulting to go to Pastry School.

Most. Difficult. Time. Of. My. Life!!

You've seen those shows where the chef yells and screams and berates his underlings. You feel bad for them. They are, for the most part, working hard. Trying to make it right....good..acceptable. Edible.

But, no... I paid $20,000 to get demoralized and ridiculed. The instructors came up with oddly creative ways to make me feel like a total failure. "Your Pate a Choux is not the perfect consistency." The first EVER time I made it. "Didn't you pay attention to the 30-sec demo we gave you??!!?? Where are your notes." Cuz I can multitask like some Twitter groupie!

I, at 52 years old, was up against 20-somethings. It wasn't a competition. But I had something to prove. Those young-ens were not gonna show me up! And then, they did. And, BTW, SOME OF THOSE 20-somethings were incredible, awesome bakers.

I was defeated...deflated. This Pastry school has churned out White House chefs. Who was I? But, you want to know something....I won't be the next White House pastry chef. But, despite the abuse, I learned a hard lesson. I learned a lot. That homemade puff pastry is 100 times better than store bought. That Seasonal fruits and veggies hands down beat fruit from South America.

And I remember that, for all the abuse I took...I learned a great deal.

I also learned to not treat people like crap.

Life Lessons -Karma

When a bird is alive...it eats ants.
When a bird is dead, ants eat the bird

Time and circumstances can change at any time.

Don't devalue or hurt anyone in life.

You may be powerful today. But remember, Time is more powerful than you.

One tree makes a million matchsticks. Only one matchstick can burn down a million trees.

So be good and do good. Respect life.

Did @amnestyDon set him off???

Along with the Mexico diss...that he probably didn't get until someone explained it to him.

He got hammered twice today and his thin skin is stinging from the heat. You know he couldn't let these things slide. I think he's just pissed off at the slights and is lashing out.

I don't start threads... But I will now!

I am a staunch Bernie supporter. I WILL vote for Hillary!!

I am a 54-yr old white woman who came from an impoverished family in West Texas and grew up oblivious to politics. I worked hard, despite significant disadvantages, to create a life for myself and my children and as it turned out, as a single mother for many years. I had no time for politics or how Washington and its machinations affected my daily life.

My primary concern was paying rent, utilities, food, school supplies, field trips, clothes..etc. As I said, I had no time for politics. I just had to find a way to live day to day.

I finally became concerned about our political system when W was anointed by SCOTUS. I realized at that time that there was something bigger going on in my world beyond cashing my paycheck and working for the next one. That what happened was clearly wrong and disturbing.

I accidentally found DU. I've learned much more as a member of DU and paying attention to other sources than I would ever have by just going on with the daily grind and ignoring how the politics of America truly affect the hours of my day.

I could go on, but the bottom line is, I spent time educating myself about the politics of politics and how my life and those I love are directly affected. Beyond that, how the lives of others beyond my small world are affected by our government. Bernie spoke to my heart. I volunteer for his local campaign office. I was disappointed when he didn't win.

But what also happened was that I had to take a much closer look at HRC. I freely admit that I only knew about her by way of the MSM over the course of many years. But I looked. And I looked hard and with a cynical eye. I could go on and on about what I found, but I would probably be preaching to the choir on her attributes.

I watched her speech today and was glad I was alone at home. Because I could have been a cheerleader practicing for tryouts in my livingroom. I just lacked the pom poms.

I truly had no clear understanding of her decades of work that I would have have heartily supported had I been more involved in politics earlier in my life. I am humbled by my ignorance.

She has my 110% support and I will be out there working to make sure that Virginia goes true blue.

I'm all in!!

I thought you might appreciate this article.

The Radical Message of Michelle Obama’s Speech

http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/politics/2016/07/the_radical_message_of_michelle_obama_s_speech.html

I apologize if it has been previously posted.

Ok, I admit it.

As a Bernie supporter that vowed to vote for HRC should she be the nominee, Elizabeth Warren just gave me a reason to actually believe in Hillary.

What I am really tired of is seeing posts here that trash Bernie supporters and that needs to stop. I WILL vote HRC and I said I would that all along. I will put a measured trust in her. Because the very last thing I want is to see a DJT presidency. I want to believe in her. I still have reservations. But she is my nominee and I will support her.

It is time to come together to put an end to the craziness that is Donald J. Trump.

Who's with me?
