Was FDR a progressive?

Or progressive on some issues and moderate on others?

February 3, 2016

The media spent months trying to tear Hillary down and prop Trump up.

Yet, Hillary won and Trump lost. Congrats to Team HRC for pulling it out despite being slammed by the media 24/7 and being slammed by ads from every candidate on both sides of the aisle. She won the debates despite being constantly ganged up on. The reality of this primary race is its Hillary vs. every other candidate, and every other candidate vs. Hillary. Bernie got to fly under the radar letting Hillary take the brunt of every attack ad from every candidate. And she's still winning. K and R!

Hillary won Iowa and it was all due to non-white voters.

Who broke for Hillary +25. Her minority support (even in Iowa!) will continue to propel her to National victory.

Hillary Clinton won Iowa. Not coin flips.

http://www.npr.org/2016/02/02/465268206/coin-toss-fact-check-no-coin-flips-did-not-win-iowa-for-hillary-clinton

Who is spreading these rumors? Or the rumors about 90 precincts being unstaffed? None of that is true. Hillary won the national and state delegates while Bernie and Hillary won some county delegates through coin flips.

Edited to add: What won Iowa for Hillary even after being outspent by Bernie? Non-white voters handed Hillary victory. She won +24. An ominous sign for Bernie beyond NH.

Why ‘Virtual Tie’ in Iowa Is Better for Clinton Than Sanders

http://mobile.nytimes.com/2016/02/02/upshot/how-the-virtual-tie-in-iowa-helps-hillary-clinton.html?smid=tw-nytimes&smtyp=cur&referer=https://t.co/2mH5lSGBGJ

But in the end, a virtual tie in Iowa is an acceptable, if not ideal, result for Mrs. Clinton and an ominous one for Mr. Sanders. He failed to win a state tailor made to his strengths.

He fares best among white voters. The electorate was 91 percent white, per the entrance polls. He does well with less affluent voters. The caucus electorate was far less affluent than the national primary electorate in 2008. He’s heavily dependent on turnout from young voters, and he had months to build a robust field operation. As the primaries quickly unfold, he won’t have that luxury.

For the FIRST TIME in US History a woman wins the Iowa Caucus!

Great job Team HRC! Lets bring home the victory! #Herstory

One thing is for sure, Republicans are most certainly not afraid of Bernie Sanders.

http://www.nationalreview.com/article/420262/bernie-sanders-republicans-myra-adams

They've run zero ads against Bernie. They don't even mention his name at debates. They don't even respond to his comments.

Hillary on the other hand is beating every candidate on both sides of the aisle while simultaneously being attacked by every candidate on both sides of the aisle.

All while running a global charity to fight AIDS and poverty around the world, and battling Citizens United and Judicial Watch in the courts.

No wonder why she has the union endorsements, party endorsements, and endorsements from Civil Rights heroes like John Lewis, Gloria Steinem, Dolores Huerta, Andrew Young, Jim Obgerfell, to name a few.

Apologize For What?

Donald Trump's Muslim Bashing Aids Cause of Terror Networks, Say Experts.

Donald Trump's call for closing America's door to Muslims is opening a window of opportunity for groups like ISIS, counter-terrorism experts and human rights advocates say.

The Republican presidential candidate's controversial proposal for barring all Muslims from entering the United States is being used by the head-chopping fanatics and other terrorist groups like al Qaeda to attract recruits by painting the land of the free as opposed to Islam, experts told NBC News on Tuesday.

"They love him from the sense that he is supporting their rhetoric," said Rita Katz with the SITE Intelligence Group, which monitors the social media activities of Islamic terrorist groups

"They follow everything Donald Trump says," she noted. "When he says, 'No Muslims should be allowed in America,' they tell people, 'We told you America hates Muslims and here is proof.'"
