Why aren't these people charged with murder?

I have read plenty of stories where a person (usually a young black man) was charged with murder because they were doing something illegal (burglary, breaking and entering, etc...) and a person was killed. They were charged although they didn’t pull the trigger or weren’t part of the actually killing. But they were still arrested, prosecuted and convicted of murder. So what’s the difference?

I am tired of the 'heal and reconcile' message

This message always seems to be used when conservative thought loses either an election or war. The first time it happened was the Civil War (probably happened before then, but that’s the most stark example)...and has happened several times after (the last time was after the 2006 and 2008 elections )...Their people aren’t held accountable or suffer any consequences, we just try to move on (and our side goes along with it) ...But what really happens is they regroup and get worse and more emboldened and eventually get power again. I hope we don’t make the same mistakes this time. It seems like Pelosi and the Democratic House gets it.
