If trump somehow steals this election

Not that I think he will succeed, but if he does what will happen? I keep hearing people saying that the American people won’t stand for that, but really? All I see happening are protests around the country (similar to the ones this summer for George Floyd), riots and looting by right wing agitators, statements of ‘concern’ from a few Republicans, the MSM and pundits saying that this is unprecedented, trump and Barr using tear gas on D.C. protesters, the Democratic House investigating and probably impeaching, the senate acquitting....but in the end nothing really changes and Trump continues doing what he has done for the last 4 years, but more emboldened, his cult still worshipping him, and McConnell still confirming judges...

One thing that worries me about Biden

This is why Putin wanted trump to win

Not because trump was/is a Russian puppet, but because he knew this was the only way for America to fail. He knew that no one could beat America militarily or economically...But he knew that Trump could destroy us within...pitting us against each other, questioning our Democratic processes, making us look like a banana republic....we have no moral standing on the world stage and can’t question other countries and their processes

Good article to calm my nerves

Looks like the Republican legislatures can’t choose their own electors without changing state law, in which they won’t be able to do with Democratic Governors...However, now I think Trump’s play is to screw these states’ certifications up where they don’t send any electors so that Biden falls below 270 and then the House of Representatives (by state delegation) get to choose....even if he can screwup the Michigan certification it still wouldn’t put Biden below 270.

I am actually getting nervous

I knew Trump would act like this once he lost and I knew republicans would be complicit, but damn this is crazy....Michigan alone is getting crazy and Biden won that state more comfortable than any other of the states trump is trying to steal....it’s not a given that the State canvassers will certify the vote because it has the same partisan 2-2 makeup as the County canvassers and one of the republicans has already stated he has concerns and wants an audit.

The Democratic Georgia Senate candidates need to hammer that

A vote for them is a vote for a stimulus while a vote for their opponents would kill a stimulus deal. This needs to be plastered in their tv ads and in th4ir conversations with people.
