He is vindictive and after McConnell’s speech no way he will help him become majority leader... I bet in the primaries, people that he supports are going to have to make a pledge not to support McConnell as leader

And this isn’t a good day for Trump...we all knew he was going to be acquitted but 57-43 (with 7 Republicans) is pretty damning...and McConnell’s speech wasn’t friendly to him.

Collins is safe, Romney has stature, Murkowski does her own thing, Burr and Toomey aren’t running again, I think Sasse just won and I don’t think he wants to run in 2026....Cassidy just won too, but I guess he doesn’t plan on running in 2026
