I didn't realize how stupid people really were

Until last year when they no kidding thought Trump gave them those stimulus checks, I am not saying that Biden should have his name on the next round of checks, because it was dumb when Trump did it...I am just pointing out that people are really dumb and I can see some people saying “Trump gave me two checks, Biden hasn’t gave me anything” and then when someone points out that Biden gave them the third check, they will “No, that came from some lady name Janet Yellen”

Unfortunately, they have the governorships and state legislatures to do it without being stopped...I doubt Biden and the Democrats can do anything to stop it due to the filibuster and lawsuits won’t help because of this SCOTUS....so my question is what are the Democrats doing about it...we can whine about this being voter suppression (which it is), but that’s not going to stop them from becoming laws.. the time is now to act, informing voters and making them aware of what they need or what they are going to need to register, informing them on their future voting method options, throw in that Republicans don’t want you to vote,etc....but we can’t wait 6 months before the 2022 elections and voters are surprised that they can’t vote or can’t use the method they used before

I see that she is trending; I guess the British press bought her in to dissect the Oprah/Markle interview....This lady is the epitome of a blonde American white woman who is privileged and doesn’t want to lose that status for herself and children.....remember when she was ‘hard’ on Trump and then he said mean things about her and everyone came to her defense? She was even trying to protect her privileges then, that was during the Republican primary and she probably thought Trump couldn’t win the general election and would cost the Republicans the election...that’s really the real reason she was hard on him....

Republicans complaining that last years Covid bills were bipartisan

While this wasn’t.....it’s because Democrats actually try to govern and don’t care about who got the credit for helping the American people while Republicans decided to make it political...if this same bill was supported by trump last year, then the vast majority of Democrats would have still voted for it, the difference is half of Republicans in the Senate and House would have voted for it, too...so it’s easy for them to claim bipartisanship.....this is similar to Trump getting credit for criminal justice reform and then Obama getting blamed for not getting it done, it’s because Democrats were on board regardless of who was President but Republicans weren’t, but as soon as it was a Republican president then all of a sudden Republican members of Congress supported it

If I understand this Portman amendment correctly

All 50 Republicans and Manchin can vote for this amendment and then it would be put into the bill, but then no Republicans would actually vote for the bill....I really dislike Joe Manchin....

I personally think Presidents get too much credit and blame for jobs reports, and I also think if we are going to give them credit then it’s too early in Biden’s presidency for him to get credit....But saying all that, Trump claimed the good news during his first couple months so Biden can do the same thing
