I have posted many threads criticizing Manchin….read this story today and remembered why we need him

Red states are overriding their blue cities.

We always hear the line that big city elites look down upon the so called hard working, Jesus loving, America loving, rural areas….and that Democrats and liberals need to understand them and stop stereotyping them and treating them as ‘flyover country’, but in reality it’s the opposite, these people look down upon the diverse, tolerant, progressive big cities….always labeling them crime ridden, drug ridden, homeless ridden, etc…just look at the comments in this twitter thread

Manchin endorsed Susan Collins last year over a Democrat

That’s all you need to know about him. I know this site forbids negative talk against Democratic political figures, but he should be fair game seeing that he campaigned against a Democrat.

The Senate in 2001

Wow, just 20 years ago Democrats had both seats in West Va, South and North Dakota, Florida, and Louisiana...and also had one seat in Arkansas, South and North Carolina, Montana, Missouri, Nebraska, Indiana and Iowa.....that’s 26 seats that seem to be solidly Republican now....and even then the senate was 50/50.

Is the MSM going to cover Trump's speech today?

If so, then bad on them...the free press that they gave him was the reason he became president in the first place....I don’t even want them to report on the crazy things that he will say, he craves the attention (good or bad)....I don’t remember them giving coverage to Obama (except for his book tour), W, Clinton, or HW post presidency.

What the hell happened to Florida

The last few years Florida has seemed to take a hard right direction and it doesn’t make sense. From 1992-2016 Florida seemed to be the most purple state that voted for both Republicans and Democrats statewide and the margins were very very close.....at the same time it’s population has grown, normally when a state’s population grows it becomes bluer (Arizona, Texas, Georgia, Colorado, Virginia) and when it shrinks it becomes redder (Iowa, Ohio, Missouri, Minnesota, Michigan), but Florida seems to have defied that trend

Major Kyrsten Sinema Supporter Says Abolish Filibuster Or Get Out Of The Senate

This guy seems like the type of voter Sinema thinks she is appealing to by the stances she has taken. And even he seems tired of her.

Woods, a former Republican, was attorney general from from 1991-1999 and worked for the late Sen. John McCain (R). In 2018, he switched parties and became a Democrat.

Fauci's emails is becoming another Hillary's emails for Republicans

But in both instances they never really point to anything in the emails that are so scandalous....it’s almost like they think if they scream “emails” it makes someone guilty of something...and unfortunately the tactic seems to work on some people
