This people are going to be even crazier during Biden's presidency

They were already lunatics during the Clinton and Obama years believing all the wild and crazy conspiracy theories from hate radio, drudge and foxnews, but I fear it’s going to be amped up 100 times...especially with OANN, newsmax, parler, Facebook, Twitter, along with the aforementioned media.

Our election system needs to change

This is crazy....I am learning a lot....funny how before this election on election night I would watched as states were called for the candidates...at the end of the night we knew who ‘won’...yes I knew about state certifications and electors, but probably not the nuances like how some states have county canvassers who certify, and then the state canvassers certify....or how state legislators could possibly send their own slate of electors....now I came across this article....essentially the article talks about how the U.S. congress could object to a state’s electoral votes, basically one senator and one representative have to object, and then both houses vote on the objection, if both houses object then the electoral votes from that state don’t count...thank goodness we have the house because if we didn’t I could seriously see Congress throwing out a few states...essentially our system relies on people who are supposedly honest, noble and who will do the right thing, it isn’t built for corrupt and partisan hacks like we have on the other side

I thought Trump saved Big Ten Football?

My Buckeyes have missed two games because of Covid....Also, what happened to Covid being over after the election?

Georgia peeps

How is the runoff elections going from your vantage point? Are the Democrats hammering the point that a vote for them is a vote for a COVID economic package and stimulus, while a vote for the Republicans is a vote against a stimulus...I think that should be their biggest focus instead of the “Purdue and Lloefler are crooks” talking point....also, the Obama’s, Harris, and Biden need to be down there NOW, and not wait for a rally one week before Election Day

Watching the Obama special on MSNBC

this astroturf tea party movement was so nauseating, people with their fake outrage about healthcare.....it wasn’t that they really opposed his healthcare plan, it was that they were racist and hated Obama

Edit - these people are the same people who are now ‘the trump voter’ and the ‘white working class voter’ who the media is constantly trying to understand...stop trying to understand the, when it’s actually easy to, it’s racism

What happens if a state ignored a SCOTUS ruling

I have seen states ignore presidential executive orders and/or congressional laws signed by the POTUS

I have seen both the POTUS and Congress ignore each other whether we are talking about subpoenas or executive orders

It seems like everyone at every level (local, state, federal) can just ignore each other and nothing is really enforced, but somehow SCOTUS rulings are sacred....but what if some governor just said nope, I don’t care what they ruled...it’s not like the court has an army or police force (except for I guess the US Marshals....what can the SCOTUS really do to enforce their ruling
