Four years ago, Trump celebrated the certification of his 10,704 vote victory in Michigan, BUT today

These continuous denials are not good for America. --as you know. It kind of reminds me of Roe v. Wade--a continuous chipping away of women's rights--but this is at warp speed.

Four years ago, Trump celebrated the certification of his 10,704 vote victory in Michigan

Today, he still refuses to accept Biden's 154,000 vote win in Michigan - and is trying to overturn other state certifications

Now that Donald Trump is finished, we’re watching his various Republican stooges trying to figure out how to transition to life without him. For instance, Republican Senator John Cornyn is now trying to reinvent himself as some kind of ethics watchdog against the Biden administration. It’s not going well. His “transparency is non-negotiable” tweet tonight was hit with more than nine thousand negative replies. Ouch.

Stupid and selfish.

– Tweet of the day, from Dr. Syed A. Ahmad: “Just got an email from work that our hospital is full and all elective surgical cases have [been] cancelled. No transfers allowed to hospital. Driving home, passed a restaurant that was full. Shaking my head. Frustrated is an understatement.”

Kamala Harris Laughs Off Prospect Of Trump 2024 Presidential Run

I do not think trump will actually run --but he and his fans will remain in the spotlight as long as the media covers him.

WASHINGTON, DC - NOVEMBER 28:.......

Key Facts

................................

Trump has thus far refused to concede the election based on unsubstantiated claims of widespread fraud and largely failed legal efforts to overturn the results in key states – though he has dropped public hints he knows he lost.

It’s been widely speculated that Trump will launch a rematch bid soon after leaving office, or even before, with the Daily Beast even reporting based on three anonymous sources that he has discussed kicking off his campaign on the day of Biden’s inauguration.

“The president and some of his closest associates have already started surveying prominent donors to get a sense of who would be with him, or perhaps against him,” Daily Beast White House reporter Asawin Suebsaeng wrote.

Trump has also “privately bragged that [he’d] remain in the spotlight,” Suebsaeng reported, adding that the president believes “he gets the news outlets ratings and those same outlets find Biden ‘boring.’”

Surprising Fact

Trump has wavered on whether he would even willingly leave the White House by Jan. 20, telling reporters on Thursday that he would before backtracking and asserting, falsely, that Biden has to “prove” his votes were legal before he can take office.

Big Number

53%. That’s the share of Republicans who said they would vote Trump if he ran again in 2024 in a Politico/Morning Consult poll released Tuesday. Another 12% said they would support Trump’s vice president, Mike Pence, and 8% said they would support Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr. Sens. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) and Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley each garnered 4%, while Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) polled at 2%.

Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris dismissed a question about the possibility President Trump may run again in 2024 amid reports that discussions about such a campaign are growing more serious and specific.

Prof Said Jade Amulets May Block COVID--and Became a Science Supervillain

The few remaining paragraphs in this story talk of how this story might have gotten by a peer -reviewed science journal. I am not familiar with the Journal.

Prof Said Jade Amulets May Block COVID—and Became a Science Supervillain

Unlike bogus far-right conspiracy theories about COVID-19, this idea did not emerge from the digital fringe, but from a respected academic journal, resulting in a total shitshow.

Published Nov. 29, 2020 5:00AM ET

Scientists have started sounding the alarm over a strange new theory circulating online about the novel coronavirus. Basically, it argues that the coronavirus may not really be all that novel. Instead, the thinking goes, it could be an ancient virus hidden in our DNA that does not directly make people sick—until shifts in Earth’s geomagnetic field create a cascade of effects that ultimately activate that latent genetic code and cause COVID-19.

The wildest part: Thanks to its own unique geomagnetic properties, the theory maintains, “nephrite-jade amulets, a calcium ferromagnesium silicate, may prevent COVID-19.” In other words, you may be able to wear a physical piece of armor to ward off the deadly illness.

Unlike the bogus far-right conspiracy theories about COVID-19 and other diseases that have percolated over the years, this idea did not emerge from some secretive digital fringe. Instead, it originated in a peer-reviewed article in Science of the Total Environment (SOTE), a reputable academic journal, thanks in part, its authors claim, to funding “through grants from the United States National Institutes of Health.” (The National Institutes of Health did not respond to a request for comment for this story.)........................................

my god!!

We've blown through the line of support.
~90,000 covid patients in the hospital.
Not just beds. Not enough nurses, physicians, respiratory therapists and healthcare professionals to cope.
To provide care.

Everyone piles on after Donald Trump’s Diamond and Silk meltdown
Bill Palmer | 8:40 pm EST November 28, 2020

– Trump is now tweeting election legal analysis from Diamond and Silk. And he wonders why he lost the election by six million votes. If you’re trying to remember who they are, Diamond and Silk are two obscure singers who are frequently retweeted by Trump. Once he’s gone, they’ll head right back to obscurity.

– Donald Trump is also quoting Alan Dershowitz on Twitter tonight, which gives you an idea of how poorly Donald Trump’s day is going.

‘Daily Show’ Looks Back At Trump’s ‘Cozy Relationship’ With White Supremacists
“Of all Donald Trump’s scandals, supporting white supremacists should have been the easiest to avoid.”

President Donald Trump’s refusal to condemn white supremacists before and throughout his presidency is examined in a “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” segment from Friday.

The video, which garnered more than 600,000 views in its first 24 hours online, looks back at Trump’s “cozy relationship with supremacists,” according to its YouTube description............................

But “he’s been strangely reluctant to call out” white supremacists, says Wood Jr., recalling Trump’s failure to immediately denounce the endorsement of former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke; his claim about “very fine people on both sides” at the deadly white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2017; and his call for the neo-fascist Proud Boys to “stand back and stand by” during a 2020 presidential debate.

“Of all Donald Trump’s scandals, supporting white supremacists should have been the easiest to avoid,” says Wood Jr.
