The amazing thing about "it might have been antifa" is that Trump literally summoned these people [#Trump Thugs]
to DC, spoke at their event, offered to walk them over to the Capitol and then praised them afterward.

A man seen in a viral photo lounging at a desk inside House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s suite of offices amid Wednesday’s chaos at the Capitol allegedly swiped a letter meant for a Missouri congressman.

The man, identified in reports as 60-year-old Richard Barnett, flashed the letter, addressed to Republican Rep. Billy Long, to reporters outside the Capitol building.

In an expletive-laced interview with New York Times reporter Matthew Rosenberg, Barnett, from Arkansas, argued he did not steal the envelope since he left some change on the desk.

“I didn’t steal it. I bled on it because they were macing me and I couldn’t f—ing see,” Barnett said, according to video posted to Twitter by Rosenberg.

“So I figure ‘well, I’m in her office, I got blood in her office, I’ll put a quarter on her desk even though she ain’t f—ing worth it,” he added..................................

Trump agrees to an orderly transition of power in a written statement (he's banned in a Twitter time

Has anyone seen this statement from Trump? Joyce is a good source--she has been in the past.

@JoyceWhiteVance
Trump agrees to an orderly transition of power in a written statement (he’s banned in a Twitter time out) that sounds like it was written by someone else. He still doesn’t concede he lost.

Here's What Trump Said Right Before His Supporters Stormed The Capitol

Source: TPM

January 6, 2021 4:58 p.m.

......................

“Let’s walk down Pennsylvania Avenue,” he told the mob in front of him, concluding his speech right around 1:10 p.m. ET.

Some had anticipated the charge: Five minutes earlier, a Washington Post reporter stationed at the other end of Pennsylvania Avenue from Trump noted supporters of his “charging toward the Capitol steps,” struggling to get past police and breach the building.

.....................................

But it wasn’t just a single command from Trump that resulted in the siege of the Capitol. He spent his entire speech working the crowd into a froth, urging their presence at the legislature to give “weak” Republicans in Congress “the kind of pride and boldness that they need to take back our country.”

“We’re going to walk down to the Capitol, and we’re going to cheer on our brave senators and congressmen and -women, and we’re probably not going to be cheering so much for some of them,” Trump told the crowd a few minutes after noon.

I think this statement by Trump really got them riled.

“I’ll be there with you,” he noted, sending supporters in a frenzy. “We’re never going to take back our country with weakness. You have to show strength and you have to be strong.”

Curious. Has any of Trumps Cabinet said anything?? uttered one word?

As riots began Trump was "borderline enthusiastic b/c it meant the certification was being derailed'

Trumps tweets need to be used as evidence for impeachment NOW

White House officials were shaken by Trump's reaction to a mob of his supporters descending on the Capitol today. He was described to me as borderline enthusiastic because it meant the certification was being derailed. It has genuinely freaked people out.

Well said and so true

Robert Reich
@RBReich
For 4 years I've heard GOP members of Congress say they can't comment on what Trump said or did because they hadn't seen it. That's over. Today they saw it. Either they vote to impeach and remove him, or they are complicit in his attempted coup.
