Your mission for the day: Share this far and wide.

There’s no one who fights harder for American families than Hillary Clinton—and every family in Iowa needs to know that.

The Iowa caucus—the first contest in the 2016 election—is just nine days away, which means for Hillary supporters, it’s all hands on deck. And if you want to help Hillary win Iowa on February 1, then here’s your mission for the day:
Just share this video with someone you know in Iowa. And if you don’t know someone in Iowa, share it anyway—I bet someone you know does.

Hillary has been fighting for the causes we care about her entire life.

And now it’s time for us to fight for her.

Share the full video with your friends so they know Hillary will fight for them—and then let’s go win Iowa.

Congressman Joaquin Castro and his twin brother, San Antonio Mayor Julián Castro, by lauren gerson FLICKR

Manchester – Congressman Joaquín Castro and the Honorable Julián Castro will campaign for Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire on Monday, January 25th at volunteer and organizing events across the state. Both Castro brothers know there is a lot at stake for working families in 2016, and they are traveling to New Hampshire to talk to voters about Hillary Clinton’s plans to make the economy work for everyone – not just those at the top.

While in New Hampshire, the brothers will attend a meeting with leading experts and community leaders to discuss housing, infrastructure, and urban development issues. They will then travel to Durham to meet with UNH young Democrats and lay out why they believe Hillary Clinton is the best candidate to really tackle the rising cost of college, achieve equal pay for women, and create shared prosperity.

Additionally, the Honorable Julián Castro will kick off a phonebank with volunteers in Nashua and attend a statewide New Americans Meet and Greet event in Manchester.

Hillary for New Hampshire is building a grassroots campaign that connects supporters and builds relationships with Granite Staters through one-on-one meetings, small gatherings, and online engagement. At these events, volunteers will engage with voters and encourage them to be part of the campaign by signing a “Commit to Vote” card, pledging to vote for Hillary in the first in the nation primary.

Members of the public can sign up at hillaryclinton.com/events to receive more information about campaign events happening near them.

Bernie-Mania's Barrier: Democratic Delegate Math--or to quote the infamous Bill Clinton

Bernie-Mania's Barrier: Democratic Delegate Math

http://cookpolitical.com/story/9179

In the wake of new Iowa and New Hampshire polls showing Bernie Sanders gaining, some say it's time for Hillary Clinton to hit the panic button. "Clinton should ABSOLUTELY be nervous about the state of the race with less than three weeks before voters in Iowa head to the caucuses," the Washington Post's Fix blog blared last week.

There are just two obstacles in this theory's way: demographics and delegate arithmetic.

In poll after poll, Sanders's best group within the Democratic Party is liberal whites. Unfortunately for Sanders, Iowa and New Hampshire couldn't be much further on the extreme end of the party's demographic or ideological spectrum. According to our estimates, based on past exit polls and Census data, there is only one state where whites who self-identify as liberals make up a higher share of the Democratic primary electorate than Iowa and New Hampshire.

You guessed it: Vermont.

In fact, 98 percent of pledged Democratic delegates will come from states with lower shares of liberal whites than Iowa and New Hampshire. Just 447 of 4,051 pledged Democratic delegates - 11 percent - are tied to results in states or districts with higher shares of college-educated whites than New Hampshire. Moreover, just 13 percent of pledged Democratic delegates will be awarded in caucus states like Iowa, which as 2008 proved, tend to bring out more liberal participants than primaries.

In other words, if Sanders prevails narrowly in Iowa or New Hampshire, his support among liberal whites and in college towns - essentially Portlandia - would be entirely consistent with a scenario in which he also gets clobbered by Clinton nationally.

ROCHESTER —..........................
"We can either build on the progress we've made under President Obama, or we can rip it all up and start over," Clinton said.

.......................................................

..................... Clinton pointed to her involvement in the State Children's Health Insurance Program as a step in laying the groundwork for the Affordable Care Act.

"It's especially terrible when it comes to children who need treatment, and they can't get insurance," Clinton said. “Now there’s over eight million children insured.”

In particular, Clinton focused on how she would regulate the drug companies. She said as president she would take away the tax break that drug companies get from advertisements.

"The companies will say, 'Oh, she's trying to interfere with research,'" Clinton said. "But I would actually be doing them a favor, because the companies currently spend more money on advertisements than research, so they would have to focus on research."........................
