What are gas prices doing where you live?
I had not been out for a few days, but I went out today and prices at the cheap places have risen about four cents since the invasion began. I live in Northen California and I know my area may not be typical because it is a resort area and gas prices are usually a bit inflated most of the time anyway. We are at $4.59. It was $4.55 this time last week.
At the state of the union address on Tuesday,
will the republicans sit on their hands every time the Democrats applaud Biden?
It's snowing here right now.
Just a little bit and I'm sure it won't stick. We're about 150 miles north of San Francisco at an elevation of 1,300 feet, so it's kind of rare to get snow. Maybe once every five years.

So I just watched Richard Engel on MSNBC
struggling to keep from breaking out into a huge shit-eating grin.
This is what I think will happen in the current standoff in Europe.
Putin may wind up taking part or even all of Ukraine. But Biden will show him it will be far more expensive than he thought it would be, and for a long time.
It will be the equivalent of getting a new Chevy pickup truck but finding out it's going to cost a thousand dollars a day to park it. Enough to make you not want another Chevy pickup truck.
So, let me get this straight.
Trump gathered enough documents to fill 15 boxes to take with him when he left DC and headed for Florida. Or at least directed someone else to do so. I guess he knew he lost the election and knew he was going to be leaving.
