Just got my second Moderna shot a half an hour ago. Update: 2nd Update:

Absolutely painless. Never felt the needle. Feeling fine so far, we'll see what the next few days brings. I had no reaction at all to the first shot.

Update: Saturday about 22 hrs after shot, Still feeling okay, no fever.

2nd Update: 32 hours after the shot, finally a little soreness at the injection site if touched hard.

I should mention I'm not gloating or bragging about what an easy time I've had. I just see a lot of people posting about having some negative symptoms. Good for them for informing us and for the most part letting us know that their symptoms were very short term. This is good information. I just thought it would also be good to document that some have less problems with the vaccine to round out the general assessment and maybe assure people that for the most part there is not much to worry about and maybe lessen some anxiety some may be having. Best of luck to anyone getting vaccinated.

Texas lifts mask mandate

and all restrictions on businesses.

This is not good.

Just...no.

That is all.

Okay, I think I've got this figured out.

I was wondering why, for the most part the only republicans who dare vote against Trump are women and Mitt Romney. Could it be they are the only ones who Trump doesn't have a video of them raping 12 year old girls?

I mean why else would so many republicans align themselves with a person who lost the House, the Senate, the White House and the popular vote twice? That's not the electoral profile of the leader of a political party

Do you live in a Mobile Home or RV? Tell us about it.

We downsized and moved into ours about six years ago. It's a 1977 Skyline Expando. It's a 60 ft.X 12 ft. single with an expanded living room. Two bed, 1 bath. We're in a Senior (55 and older) park in a small town in the northern wine country in Northern California. Never saw myself in a Mobile Home, but we really like it. Nice neighbors, well managed and affordable park. Earlier retirement than we planned due to health reasons reduced our income and this worked out fine.

We installed a complete new kitchen and painted all the wood paneling, so it looks much newer than it's actual age.

Some of the most sexy music I've ever seen

Okay, this could be a line from an SNL skit,

but joe Biden could pull this off in real life.

A reporter asks President Biden: "Mr. President, Donald Trump says he will come and testify at the impeachment trial if you will send Air Force One down to Florida to bring him to Washington. Will you do that?"

Biden says: "I don't know, we just got it all cleaned up."

Thanks to all who are giving me hearts.

It's already twice as much as I've ever had in past years. I have been more active here this past year. DU and all the DUers are the best thing about sitting home all day with nothing to do during the pandemic. Thank you all again.

Well, I'm feeling good after watching commentary on MSNBC

that people who know far more than me about constitutional law also think the defense was a bunch of babbling bullshit.

Thanks for the anonymous heart.

That was very kind.
