Someone please explain how a Federal Appeals Court could suddenly decide to strike down Obama's
NLRB Recess appointments. Haven’t recent Presidents been both republicans and democrats been doing this for years? I’m sure it was a 2/1 party line vote ( yea, like judges don’t vote their party line) but isn’t it rather peculiar that they did not question this until now. Isn’t it obvious to everyone that this is just another partisan
attack? Can it hold up? The Supreme court might not strike the decision down since they gave into Obamacare
and Republicans on the court might feel they owe their base a fucking crazy wing nut decision.
Early in 2012 I joined DU under another handle. I was new on the internet and didn’t understand the
politics of posting on this site. My first thread was an attack on Harry Reid. My rant was probably obnoxious and not well thought out. I was trying to make the point that we needed new and younger blood to take on
this new breed of idiocy on the right. That Harry reminded me of Pa Kettle with his “golly gee” attitude. I immediately got booted off the site and said to myself maybe I’m wrong after all, that he did do a nice job tearing into Romney’s tax problem.
There were a hell of a lot of Harry Reid supporters on this site tearing into me which to me came out of nowhere, however, I must admit I had several supporters. Anyway todays events illustrate our need as a party to not support any middle ground Dems. This current lot of right wing nuts are extremely dangerous and are out to destroy anyone who does not agree with their uber-nationalistic,, racist, homophobic, gun loving attitudes which includes destroying govt. The Time for no more surrender is Now!!
I’m a bit wiser now, not much, however I would have never have posted the Harry Reid rant today.
You guys thought I was a troll which is understandable. However after reading all the negative comments on Harry Reid today which are much more profane than mine was........Well it doesn’t make me feel any better. It does suck however.

Very Urgent: Fucking Critical that every day from now on we start a thread in order to explore
ways to prevent Republicans in Red states, who control all branches of state govt,.from drawing up plans to gerrymander legislative districts in order to prevent a Democratic Presidential Candidate from ever winning an election again..
We are in a fucking battle of our lives here and last night I started a thread trying to ascertain our
options and strategies to go head to head with these freaks who want to destroy our one man one vote
principal of our democracy.
The responses were good and please try to find the thread, but there were no absolutes on how to stop
this incredibly immoral power play from playing itself out in all Red Controlled States...Including Ohio, Wisc
and Virginia and many more. In essence if these gerrymandering tactics were in place before the 2012
election.. Obama would have lost or at least the outcome would have been very close.
My head was spinning this a.m. and I thought that perhaps the DNC needs to set up shop in these states
immediately and begin a recall strategy for some of the rep. leaders of that state. Couldn’t we set up an
exploratory public committee to let Gov. Mcdonald know that if he signs this gerrymandering piece of shit
legislation into law that a recall petition will begin to remove him from office.
I also like the idea which another DUer brought up yesterday which is a national boycott of Virginias economy including traveling to the state and visiting their resorts.
Anyway please lets continue this conversation and explore ideas on how to prevent these radical extremists
from destroying our country....By the way where is the DNC on this. This is a fucking urgent matter!!
Jesus Christ! I just watched Rachel.........Can anyone out there please tell if there is a way
to prevent Republican controlled states from gerrymandering state districts, like Virginia did yesterday,and then pass laws which allow these districts to control the presidential elections? This is fucking scary!!! Are we just sitting back soaking in our Obama glory and not stepping on this shit immediately? Aren’t they screwing with Federal Election laws?? Rachel certainly did not have any promising solutions to the problem She just stated, “Stay Tuned”.
