The 5 Stages of Grief on DU

1. Denial
Hey, let's post about Pit bulls and movie theatres and cat pictures because everything will be just fine!!!

2. Anger
Why should we give them aid when their representatives voted against fed relief for others!?! That will teach them!
Global warming is a thing!! It caused this! Fix it now!

3. Bargaining
But why don't they have basements...
But why did they send the kids to school...
If only we put more money into the schools...

4. Depression
Posts about other things, like the fake scandals. Making sure we spend enough time on them.
Checking on our friends in the areas affected by the disasters.

5. Acceptance
Logging out, hugging our families a little harder, donating money, blood or time.

Just a thought.

Read these and thought of some folks on here

Sinfest is a comic I've read for several year now. Somewhere along the way the author had a MAJOR shift of perspective and at least at this moment, a lot of his comics are related to the damage patriarchy is doing. I don't pretend to know a whole lot, but I think he's done well depicting certain situations.
