The hearing was a shit show, yet not the one some of the media wants to portray it. The Democrats are in disarray, I think not. The GOP made fools of themselves with their theatrics. You wanted a show, the GOP obliged. Louie takes the cake with a 5 minute tirade, screaming, red faced and spittle flying. Dayum, Jack Nicholson should step aside. Lou wins the Oscar hands down.
Then you had Turner with more theatrics slamming one law book after another on his desk , to make his point on exoneration. Dayum that was an impressive stack of books! Bet as a kid he surpassed in building blocks.
You wanted a show and the GOP surpassed expectations. Everyone of them proved beyond a shadow of a doubt who's side they are on, Trump/Russia, the USA be damned. THIS is the biggest takeaway from that hearing.
As for MR Mueller, a fair and precise man with a sharp legal mind. He is a by the books kind of guy and follows the word of law as he as done his entire life. He is a war hero and a leader.
The pundits and others called him frail, bumbling and disheveled. Unable to answer the questions instantly without asking the page that was being quoted. Fact. That was a 400 page report that took two years to compile. Fact. Mueller had dozens of legal minds working on that report. Their were other investigations that were handed over to the proper authorities and are still under investigation. Who here has instant recall? Who here has memorized a 400 page legal report and has no need to check their notes. As for the questions he refused to answer? It is a fact that the investigations are far from over and he can not comment on an ongoing investigation.
Whoa, then their is the ageism. Mueller is 75 and said to be to old and frail and failed at the job he was hired for. I think some here should rethink that...considering our candidates.
