No Vested Interest's JournalYou got that right. nt
You may be correrct re Rauner's agenda of union-busting, but
I'd be surprised if workers in facilities for developmentally disabled belong to unions, i.e., doubtful their wages are more than others in the people-caring business.
I'm still hoping for a Dem. Senate. after 2016 election.
More Republican than Dem. seats will be on the line.
Too soon to tell.
Too many variables, and its still 1 and 1/2 year away.
A lot can happen.
Very uplifting post. You have what it takes. I'm presuming life is
going well for your daughter as well.
Peace.
Funds for developmentaly disabled in IL have been cut as well.
IL Relative wrote a respectful letter to Rauner explaining that there are 600 people in a Chicago resident facility that would be affected by cuts proposed by the Governor. Relative said that IL owes the facility 15 million $, which would rise to 21 Million $ if the cuts occur.
Received back a generic-type letter expressing that he is determined to fix the budget and that all cost are being looked at closely.
True that. I have lived long enough to realize that
people can and will rationalize any position, philosophy, theory they hold if and when they care to.
Would these work for chipmunks as well? nt
I have heard references to a broken leg, in addition to the
injuries to his spinal cord and other injuries.
Perhaps that accounts, at least partially, for the appearance of not putting full weight on his legs when he was being dragged to the police van.
