I also am on record that he would resign from office within the first year.

Though I strongly, firmly hope and believe he would not be elected President by the American people, we do know that the electorate is frequently fickle, and can be fooled and successfully lied to.
In addition we also know that election results can be tampered with, manipulated, and produce incorrect results.

It has been indicated by Trump's people that he regards the Presidency as a Chairman of the Board-type office, and that he could/would appoint a CEO, COO, etc. to do the hands-on work.

It is obvious that he is not temperamentally suited for the 24-hour a day work (emphasis on word WORK) involved in the office of President.
He also is intellectually lazy; he is a non-reader, one who reacts to the thinking, ideas of others rather than promulgating serious, planned actions.
Then there is the narcissism - a personality disorder that cannot be eliminated, and is virtually unchangeable in a person of his 70 years.

Yes, Donald Trump, in the chance that he is elected President of the US, would not serve out his full term.

Brian Williams considers himself something of a comedian, and likely thought an

off-the-cuff remark such as this was humorous.

Maybe a stupid remark, but not worth getting our panties in a twist.

It's extremely hard to put one's mindset 7+ years back in time.

Our minds are now in 2016, and putting ourselves back to 2009 is very difficult.
But face it, many were advanced in technological knowledge and thinking at that time, but many were not.

How often does one see a pistol permit-holder photo in pearls, a flowered hat,

and a dead animal (fox?,mink?) around her neck?

In their minds, the clerk "saw something" - Middle-Eastern clothing, and heard

"foreign language " speech, which her relatives, at least, perceived to be a threat.

Maybe Homeland Security needs to be more specific about the "what" to say something about (i.e.-report to authorities.)

OTOH, Eleanor Roosevelt stood up to the racist policy of the Daughters of the

American Revolution, who refused to permit Marian Anderson perform in their Hall.

But Homeland Security has told Americans "See Something,

Say Something."
Doesn't Homeland Security know that many US citizens are :1. ignorant, 2. paranoid or 3. impulsive?

I think most people - a large percentage- would automatically think of Trump's

presumed Democratic opponent, not an Republican alternative to Trump, or one of the "third" party alternatives, Johnson or Stein.

(I imagine) People think I'm stiffing the collection because

the spouse signed up for automatic monthly bank deduction about 15 years ago, and nothing goes in the basket from me as it goes by.
