No Vested Interest
No Vested Interest's JournalPlease, Prayers of Thanksgiving for the joy of the Olympic Games in Rio.
Thank you for the beauty, grace and disciplined training of the athletes that used their natural abilities and talent to the maximum.
Thank you for keeping them and the many who came to witness and enjoy the Olympic Games free from major disaster.
Forgive and grant true maturity to the few that misused their abilities by causing pain to others.
The thing that's good about Joy, and to Rachel M as well, is that
they don't get mean and call names when they disagree with a guest.
They just keep smiling and punching away.
That civility goes a long way and isn't a turn-off to the whole discussion at hand.
I believe some of the MSNBC pundits don't want to be too harsh on Repubs because
they're afraid the Repubs won't come back on as guests.
Some - I'm thinking of Matthews- likes to keep the race "exciting", even when someone - Trump, for ex.- has said or done something clearly wrong or over the top.
Not just his looks. - Human singing voice is usually long gone
in advanced age.
He still carries a sweet tone.
And how many nonagenarians can even stand alone for an extended time - as in on-stage.
Rachel Maddow had contacted or quoted someone who contacted the doctor, per last night's show.
It was re doctor's use of "FACG" designation - Fellow of American College of Gastroenterologists.
It seems the doctor had not been a dues-paying member of that organization for 20 years, but was still using the designation "FACG".
Obviously, it's in the doctor's interest to protect himself and Trump, even though others have pointed out that terms used in the letter are not as most physicians would use them.
You're correct.- Matthews takes great pleasure in showing himself in other
depictions.
He loves his caricature on Saturday Night Live.
When a Trump video is being shown on MSNBC or CNN, etc.,
I browse around the remote a bit.
You're correct, most of Fox is intolerable.
