No Vested Interest
No Vested Interest's JournalCorrect me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Brett Kavanaugh identified as one of the "hired"
protestors outside the 2000 FL election count?
I don't know why anyone would bother crossing the street to see Pence, let alone
attend a rally for him.
Are permits for parades required in DC; if so, would #1MillionVeteransMarch be granted a permit
on the same day as another scheduled parade?
I don't know about CA beaches. Pacific Ocean is so different from the Atlantic - rougher, seals, etc
My brother lives in SoCal, & visits the beach towns, but not likely the beaches.
Florida being a state that promotes and profits through tourism,
I hope they provide plenty of signage explaining that mollusks, conch shells, and key deer are protected species.
I recall years ago large conch shells were given away free with a gas fill-up; I still have one of those shells in my bathroom.
Seeing so many shells sold all over Florida, many unthinking and unknowing tourists (visitors) could easily assume those on the beach were just a gift to them.
How about Louie Gohmert for Sheriff?
Think of some of the other Knuckleheads we've seen on TV lately. So many to choose from.
Perhaps some of their deviants and perverts - so well known.
Mark Sanford is going to need a job soon. - Would he make a good County Commissioner?
Roy Moore? He could wear his cowboy hat while registering deeds.
Have fun.
Kavanaugh ads are in Southwestern Ohio. nt
A Congressional Special Election will be held on August 7 in the Congressional District there.
Leans Republican, but the Dem. candidate is working hard & Cook Report has called it a tossup.
Trump would like to work up the Republican supporters there.
You are wise to travel now, rather than put it off a few years.
If you feel physically up to seeing interesting parts of the world, by all means make it happen.
I'm seven yrs older than you, loved to travel, but no longer feel it's prudent to go distances by myself.
Plus, other family or life events can come along, unexpectedly, as happened to me, when a younger family member became disabled, and it became my mission to assist there as much as able.
Report to us on your trips, and keep planning. I'd love to hear about Labrador, as plans and trip progress.
