the GOP--Ignorance or racist

I've begun to say that if an ignorant person is a Republican, that is understandable. But if an intelligent person continues to support Republicans they are racist and outright cruel. Neither is forgiven, or given a pass on this. They need to be held responsible publically.

Biden on Hyde---might be a tipping point in the general

Endorsing the continual denial of federal funding for abortion just might be the tipping point with the religious right in the general election and allow them to vote for Biden. The mission is to get our candidate elected, and for me, the ultimate appointments to SCOTUS. -----not lose an election and have a few more Kavanaugh types on SCOTUS will ensure the end of a woman’s right to choose.----Biden is a safe bet for having inroads into the Republican electorate. They like him. If anyone would like to create a list of his character defects I can help and offer all sorts of things I do not agree with him on. To me, he is the most “ELECTABLE” candidate we have. And there is no part of a progressive agenda that will survive another four years of the current administration. For any of the progressives that were opposed to HRC all seem to agree that with her as President there would be no Kavanaugh or Gorsuch. This SCOTUS appointment issue is so critical to any progressive agenda that we need to understand that Biden’s position on Hyde takes votes away from Trump. The most recent polls from Texas show Biden leading over Trump. That is astounding.

Lindsay Graham is not a fox hole buddy---only a Fox News buddy

Lindsay Graham is not a fox hole buddy. He is a Fox News buddy, at best, but his loyalty to his friend John McCain is gone. The Marines use the term "Semper Fi" meaning "Always Faithful" and the Navy uses the term "Semper Fortis" --"Always Strong". Lindsay Graham is neither. I hope the super patriot State of South Carolina takes notice and puts someone in Washington that has not lost their noble cause. There is a great challenger in South Carolina and hope we can all support him.

Mueller is the same trusted servant as your local librarian

Most of the librarians that I know in my community are trusted servants and certainly looked up to as a pillar in our community. I think of Mueller in the same way. Mueller has never taken anything for himself. I am certain that his family background (in a similar fashion to ours) is part of his party affiliation. I have been a business owner for 50 years and have seen people similar to him. Their ethics are exemplary. Before this is over you will find a very clear and concise body of evidence that will convict any of the people involved in a crime. His track record shows that, especially in the PanAm 103 tragedy.

He is above the fanfare of politics and the news cycle. My guess is that all of the hoopla sickens him. One of the victims from PanAm 103 was from my community and my admiration for Mueller began there.

And outside my local library is a memorial to the young woman that died in PanAm103 in Lockerbie.

If you have a grudge against Mueller, from anything prior to the Trump investigation, I would like to know about it.

No "LIBRULS" involved in this chicanery NRA

-The gun rights group placed multimillion-dollar bets on Donald Trump and six Republican Senate candidates locked in highly competitive races. It poured $50.2 million, or 96 percent of its total outside spending, into these races, and lost only one — an open seat in Nevada, vacated by the Democratic Minority Leader, Harry Reid. That race cost the NRA roughly $2.5 million.- -it is time to "offer our thoughts and prayers"- part of the GOP has begun to implode and there are no "LIBRULS" to blame ------the NRA is being challenged by Oliver North(yeah THAT Oliver from Iran Contra fame) and former Republican Congressman Allen West ---another darling of the GOP right wing. They are both challenging Wayne LaPierre for some outlandish expenditures. Please note that no "LIBRULS" were involved in this disclosure and that the news of this could not possibly be "fake" because it is being provided by the "Fountain of Truth" that runs 24/7 through all the GOP homes ---these warring factions are not helpful in uniting the GOP for the next election cycle---https://www.foxnews.com/us/nra-board-member-lt-col-allen-west-calls-on-ceo-lapierre-to-resign-amid-spending-allegations?fbclid=IwAR34IgzIgXMc3S0jhrTupwVqPxMTECUoMMMJ0NJx8gsbboyPDqVBKhFpEnQ

There is HOPE --Nixon's Attorney General John Mitchell was imprisoned for obstruction

Martha Mitchell was known as the "Mouth of the South", a staunch conservative, but had an extreme dislike for Nixon. As a whistleblower to Helen Thomas, she helped bring about his demise.

About New Haven

A child of the 60's, a lifelong Democrat and a sense that our elected officials , especially the President, set the tone of civility in our great country. I worked on JFK's campaign and on Barack Obama's (twice). High School Class of 1963 I was moved by MLK's March on Washington, and to see that go full circle and have Barack Obama for President is quite gratifying. When I see remnants of the John Birch society still quite active in the Tea Party/MAGA it strengthens my beliefs and support of the Democratic Party.
