Rightwing radio host Laura Ingraham busted for bad check

According to Raw Story:

Right-wing radio host and author Laura Ingraham is facing a lawsuit filed by the Associated Press after she bounced a check to the wire service for unpaid fees and lost revenue on her website LifeZette.com.

Mediaite.com reported on Saturday that the AP is suing Ingraham and LifeZette for $50,000 in a suit filed Friday in Washington, D.C. Superior Court.

In July of 2015, LifeZette reportedly signed an agreement with the AP to pay $4,200 per month for the rights to run AP content on its homepage. In February, 2016, the AP canceled the deal due to non-payment.

Ingraham’s company, Ingraham Media Group Inc., sent the AP a $42,611 check last month, but it was returned by the bank over insufficient funds. It was then, Mediaite said, that the wire service chose to take legal action.

Back in January, rightwingnuts in Virginia were all a'twitter because Ingraham announced she will run for the Senate against incumbent Tim Kaine (D, VA). Looks as though that silly dream is dead.

As a new day dawns . . .

My front porch faces east, looking across the water where the Potomac River joins the Chesapeake Bay. It's a deep rural area and , as such, as great for amateur astronomy . . . no street lights or parking lot lights to pollute the vision. Last night was perfect -- crystal clear, low humidity -- Orion dominated the sky, the Andromeda Galaxy was almost visible to the naked eye. I stayed outside with my 12-inch reflector telescope until around 0130 then packed it in.

This morning I started the day as usual: cup of Community Coffee, dark roast after which I checked out, in this order, CNN, Washington Post, and Democratic Underground, anxious about what stupid shit The Donald and his merry band of thugs did overnight.

OMG!! OMG!!! OMG!!!

I'm headed back to bed where I'll cover my head and hope to sleep until this nightmare is over. If we survive.
