Well, I guess thay're looking to have a place

They can call their very own...

And for actual evidence...

please view this piece presented by Rachel Maddow on 9/30 which has numerous instances on recorded media indicating the intent of these individuals to shut down the government...

and EarlG posted this lovely collage the other day too with quotes (though there are no dates included as to when these words were spoken)

Obama signs Monsanto Protection Act! It's Time to Label GMOs!

Obama signs Monsanto Protection Act! It's Time to Label GMOs!

We regret to inform you that late last night President Barack Obama signed H.R. 993, which contained the Monsanto Protection Act into law. President Obama knowingly signed the Monsanto Protection Act over the urgent pleas of more than 250,000 Americans who asked that he use his executive authority to veto it. President Obama failed to live up to his oath to protect the American people and our constitution.

Suddenly I feel extremely betrayed and have now lost most of my faith in our government, particularly the folks at 1600 PA Ave. In fact, I'm pretty pissed off at this point. All I have to say...

Baby Hummingbirds

In their nest, something peaceful that you just don't see every day...

enjoy some peace and beauty from nature for a few moments! It's good for your mind and soul.

Did anyone else catch this?

I wonder if anyone else saw this documentary (four parts-four hours, hard to find even when you're looking for it) about the whole mess an then this little intro to where the whole mess of our world originated (second link)? I watched the whole thong during the past two evenings and found another short piece that was even more disturbing...

Part one:

And some even more disturbing history that explains a lot about how and why it's all happening, still:

Interesting concept...

THis is a sickness and everyone should be mad about it...

Here's what those conserving rednecks who save our wildlife by hunting in the northern Rockies entertain themselves:

“Cache County Coyote Contest”

"Cache County Coyote Contest
4 Tagged Coyotes worth $1000 a piece
$4000 in Guaranteed Payouts"

$1000 Sponsors
Mule Deer Foundation
Steve Sorensen Antler Buying
Sportsman for Fish and Wildlife
Critterlick Big Game Attractant

We as sportsman are in the field year-round and see the affects coyotes have on our deer herds first-hand. We see the amount of deer they kill and want to do something about it.

Four coyotes have been ear tagged and released in different wintering grounds and fawning areas around Cache County. If you trap or shoot an ear tagged coyote, on or before December 31, 2013, you will be paid a $1000. Any of the tagged coyotes not taken by December 31, 2013, will go into our drawing and will be awarded to a registered coyote. Be sure to register your coyotes as they may be worth $1000 if no ear tagged coyotes are taken.

Cost is $20 per person to register an unlimited amount of coyotes. Each coyote registered gives you one chance in the drawing. Registrations must be made on, or before, December 31, 2013. If you do not register your coyotes, you will not be eligible for any of the prizes in the drawing or any untaken, $1000 coyotes. All you need is the coyote’s nose to register.

Eleven other prizes to be given away in the drawing are:
•Three 1-year memberships to Mule Deer Foundation
•$100 in big game attractant from Critterlick
•Custom muzzle break from Ak Gunsmithing Wellsville, UT
•Free alignment & tire rotation from Hyrum Tire
•Three 1-year memberships to Sportsman for Fish and Wildlife
•Two $100 Cal Ranch gift cards donated by Goring Sheep Ranch

All coyotes that are registered must be killed in Cache County. Participants must obey all Federal and Utah State laws.

We would love to see your Cache County coyote hunting pictures. Please send them to cachecountycoyotes@gmail.com

This is something that is often supported by Cabelas and other sporting/hunting retailers.

Everyone should know that this stuff happens regularly, in this case it's a year-long contest. These events are common in Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Colorado and Montana and probably other states as well.

Interesting multi-issue/topic exposee/FYI article that covers several bases in 1

I received this from a dear friend who is neck deep in this part of our world, I am only knee deep...

This article is a must read and I endorse what it says. It is one thing to want to hunt wolves legally, but the people and organizations mentioned in this piece are hateful people who belong to hate groups and I hope we are all smart enough to see through the vitriol they spew.

I think that state and federal wildlife managers should take these people seriously and understand that they are attempting to influence natural resource agencies. In some cases this has already happened - and in some cases it's the legislatures they have influenced. We may soon see that fish and game agencies and commissions are dismissed from decision-making. The lawmakers will do it for them.

This is the one i was telling you about. There are links wherever you
see different colored type within the story. Also, the red, white and
blue guy is Scott Rockholm... (a very vocal individual from the freeper world).

It must be said that there are several issues involved but this does a good job of tying together a lot of complaints made individually about the subject matter that goes way beyond the main topic and covers a number of ills in our social makeup. Most will be able to connect the dots, if you will. (I'll cross post this on Env & Energy forum.)

KitchenCatz!!! (Dial-up Warning)...

Where the Money Comes From and Where it Goes in our National Budget Really good graph...

Merely for those who might be interested:

Food for thought about what we, as a society, can do about what has happened on this terrible day...

Someone asked, on another thread earlier today...

What good is all our Homeland Security when we allow things like this to happen[?]

We claim to be a Judeo-Christian nation. Why don't we have a culture that values patience and forgiveness?

Guns would not be an issue if we simply valued patience, developed it in ourselves and forgave ourselves and others more readily.

The anger that pervades our society is the result of impatience, meanness and the unwillingness to forgive. What is the solution for that? Certainly not more vindictive religious rhetoric. And increased law enforcement won't do it either. Overly dramatic TV shows make it worse. Any ideas, DUers?

And my response was:

[W]hen violence comes to a peak like this, all too frequently these days, we as a people and as individuals need to work with those around us to seek more peaceful endeavors. Convince each other that there is more to life than the latest violent game, TeeVee show, popular music, movie and try to wean each other off the blood-lust and adrenaline rush of anger and resulting angry reactions. Stop buying the products that promote this.

Adrenaline appears to be the drug of choice these days, a drug that desensitizes most and allows for a skewed rationale that finds acceptance for bringing harm to others, regardless of the species. But since we are dealing, today, with the ruthless death of so many children, we need to focus on how we can start acting like our lives and those of others have meaning for ourselves and those we claim to care about and showing it to each other through our words and actions.

That's what comes to mind in my world at the moment with regard to your question.

NRA = No Reasoning Allowed.

A very sad day indeed.

There are several Ravens loudly jumping around on my roof as I write this, in my culture they are messengers of the spirit world... I hope that these words are considered and acted upon by those who have been at a loss about how to bring about the changes we need in our society.

I hope that these ideas can take hold in our society and be utilized in a good way to heal us from this disease and to help heal those who have been terribly wounded by it.

Fear is the opposite of Love...
