To all of those Rethugs who tell people not to

jump to conclusions about how this murderer obtained the gun, shut up. Newsflash...
the murderer legally obtained his gun...

Cruz had legally purchased the gun he used during the shooting, the family’s attorney, Jim Lewis, told the Sun Sentinel.

“It was his gun,” Lewis said. “The family made him keep it in a locked gun cabinet in the house, but he had a key.”

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio (R) on Wednesday cautioned that a law may not have prevented the tragic shooting at a South Florida high school, in response to calls for increased gun control.

Rubio said that "people still don't know how" the shooting occurred, or how the 19-year-old suspect Nikolas Cruz obtained the weapon he used to kill 17 people in the Broward County school.

"I think it's important to know all of that before you jump to conclusions that there was some law that we could have passed that would have prevented it. And there may be, but shouldn't we at least know the facts?" Rubio said on Fox News.

Rubio said it was not appropriate for his Senate colleagues to use the incident as an opportunity to call for increased gun control immediately.

BREAKING NEWS
President Trump’s budget embraces deficit spending with large increases for the military and infrastructure, but deep cuts to Medicare

President Trump on Monday sent Congress a $4.4 trillion budget with steep cuts in domestic programs and entitlements, including Medicare, and large increases for the military, envisioning deficits totaling at least $7.1 trillion over the next decade.
The blueprint, which has little to no chance of being enacted as written, amounts to a vision statement by Mr. Trump, whose plan discards longtime Republican orthodoxy about balancing the budget.

Racist maniac calls victim 'Mexican s--t,' attacks him with knife

NEW YORK DAILY NEWS
Updated: Friday, February 9, 2018, 3:25 AM
EDGAR SANDOVAL

A knife-wielding, hate-spewing bigot targeted a 35-year-old dad walking home on the Lower East Side, calling him a “Mexican s--t” before punching and slashing him, police said.

Tomas Jaimez, who had just finished a long restaurant shift, stopped at a pharmacy to buy eye drops. He was a half-block from his home at Suffolk St. and Broome St. at 2:05 a.m. Monday when the attacker blocked his path.

“He told me, ‘F-----g Mexican, if you call the police I will kill you,’” said Jaimez, who is still recovering from his injuries. “I haven’t been able to sleep. He attacked me because of my race.”

The bigot, clad in a black North Face jacket, punched Jaimez in the chest, knocking him to the sidewalk.

“I fell to the ground and almost passed out. I couldn’t breathe,” he said, stroking his still bruised chest. “When I was getting up I noticed he had a knife in his hand. He was trying to cut my face, but I raised my arms to try to stop him.”

Jaimez, who has two girls, ages 7 and 8, threw up his arm to protect his face from the knife attack and suffered defensive cuts on his arm, thigh, calf and abdomen.

“He was trying to stab me in my stomach. He tried sticking his knife through my jacket,” he said. “He said, ‘Give me your phone and your wallet.’ I said, ‘I don’t have any money.’

“He said, ‘F-----g Mexican rat! Get away from my country.’ I still couldn’t breathe. He finally walked away.”

The suspect snatched Jaimez’s $750 iPhone 7 before running away.

Medics took Jaimez to Bellevue Hospital, where he was treated and released.

While talking at the restaurant where he works, Jaimez pulled back his right sleeve to reveal a foot-long scar still healing.

“He cut me on my arm and leg, past my knee. I was bleeding a lot. I thought I was going to die,” he said. “I just kept thinking, I have to get home to my two girls. My oldest is autistic. She can’t sleep until I get home.”

Jaimez, who moved from Puebla 16 years ago, said the attack has left him with psychological trauma.

“I wake in the middle of the night crying. I have nightmares that someone is trying to kill me,” he said. “I don’t know how I’m going to be able to walk home late at night. But I have to, for my wife and my daughters.”

If she thinks it is so bad there and it is a National Security issue then it is her responsibility to go to the FBI and report what she knows. WTH
