Remember all the McCain/Palin campaign rhetoric.....

it was so bad that his minions called for Obama's death. Remember when McCain had to eat crow and implore his minions to stop. This latest thing from Trump reminds me of that. But I think Trump will not responsibility for his actions but blame the media.

Donald Trump, the narcissist.

Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is a long-term pattern of abnormal behavior characterized by exaggerated feelings of self-importance, an excessive need for admiration, and a lack of understanding of others' feelings.[4][5] People affected by it often spend a lot of time thinking about achieving power or success, or about their appearance. They often take advantage of the people around them. The behavior typically begins by early adulthood, and occurs across a variety of situations.[5]

The cause of narcissistic personality disorder is unknown.[6] It is a personality disorder classified within cluster B by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.[5] Diagnosis is by a healthcare professional interviewing the person in question.[4] The condition needs to be differentiated from mania and substance use disorder.[5]

Treatments have not been well studied. Therapy is often difficult as people frequently do not consider themselves to have a problem.[4] The personality was first described in 1925 by Robert Waelder while the current name for the condition came into use in 1968.[7] About one percent of people are believed to be affected at some point in their life.[6] It appears to occur more often in males than females and affects young people more than older people.[4][5]

People with narcissistic personality disorder are characterized by their persistent grandiosity, excessive need for admiration, and a disdain and lack of empathy for others.[8][9] These individuals often display arrogance, a sense of superiority, and power-seeking behaviors.[10] Narcissistic personality disorder is different from having a strong sense of self-confidence. This is because people with NPD typically value themselves over others to the extent that they disregard the feelings and wishes of others and expect to be treated as superior regardless of their actual status or achievements.[8][11] In addition, people with NPD may exhibit fragile egos, an inability to tolerate criticism, and a tendency to belittle others in an attempt to validate their own superiority.[11]

According to the DSM-5, individuals with NPD have most or all of the following symptoms, typically without commensurate qualities or accomplishments:[8][11]

Grandiosity with expectations of superior treatment from others
Fixated on fantasies of power, success, intelligence, attractiveness, etc.
Self-perception of being unique, superior and associated with high-status people and institutions
Needing constant admiration from others
Sense of entitlement to special treatment and to obedience from others
Exploitative of others to achieve personal gain
Unwilling to empathize with others' feelings, wishes, or needs
Intensely jealous of others and the belief that others are equally jealous of them
Pompous and arrogant demeanor

I can't believe I am agreeing with Megyn kelly (pinch me)

FNC’s Megyn Kelly: MSNBC’s ‘Morning Joe’ ‘Could Not Have Promoted Trump More’

Thursday during her “The Kelly File” program on the Fox News Channel, host Megyn Kelly pointed out that MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough and others on his “Morning Joe” show had once been very complimentary of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and have since changed their tune.

Kelly remarks were in reference to Scarborough’s claim Trump had inquired about using nuclear weapons during a foreign policy briefing.

“Even MSNBC and their morning program over there, I mean, they could not have promoted Trump more,” Kelly said. “And now today, Joe Scarborough is out there talking about how three times in one meeting, [Trump] asked why he couldn’t drop a nuclear weapon. Once Trump got mad at him, he stopped saying nice things about him.”

Where Is the Evidence That Trump Would Defend the Constitution? - George Will

http://www.nationalreview.com/article/438736/donald-trump-supreme-court-constitution-promises-are-fantasy

by GEORGE WILL August 6, 2016 8:00 PM @GEORGEWILL The strained logic of Trump’s supporters. Like shipwrecked mariners clinging to a floating mast, many Republicans rationalize supporting Donald Trump because of “the Court.” This two-word incantation means: Because we care so much for the Constitution, it is supremely important to entrust to Trump the making of Supreme Court nominations. Well.

In a Republican candidates’ debate, Trump complained that Ted Cruz had criticized Trump’s sister, a federal judge. Trump said: “He’s been criticizing my sister for signing a certain bill. You know who else signed that bill? Justice Samuel Alito, a very conservative member of the Supreme Court, with my sister, signed that bill.” Trump, the supposed savior of the Supreme Court, thinks federal judges sign bills. The mast-clingers say: Well, sure, he knows nothing about American government, including the Constitution, which he vows to defend all the way to “Article XII.” He will, however, choose wise advisers and humbly defer to them.

This does not quite seem like him, but the mast-clingers say: Don’t worry, he already has compiled a list of admirable potential nominees, and, stickler that he is for consistency and predictability, he will stick to this script written by strangers. This, too, does not quite seem like Trump, but the mast-clingers say: Don’t worry, he has said enough to reveal what his “instincts” are. Indeed he has. The Court’s two most important decisions in this century are Kelo and Citizens United. Conservatives loathe Kelo; Trump loves it. Conservatives celebrate Citizens United; Trump repeats the strident rhetoric of its liberal detractors.

......Granted, Trump knows nothing about current debates concerning the Court’s proper role. We will, however, trust that he will suddenly become deferential to others’ preferences about judges. And we will ignore his promise to continue Obama’s authoritarian uses of the executive branch that will further degrade the legislative branch. We will do this because we care so very much for the Constitution.

Rubio: No abortions for Zika-infected women

http://www.politico.com/states/florida/story/2016/08/rubio-no-abortions-for-zika-infected-women-104555

Sen. Marco Rubio said Saturday that he doesn’t believe a pregnant woman infected with the Zika virus should have the right to an abortion — even if she had reason to believe the child would be born with severe microcephaly.
"I understand a lot of people disagree with my view – but I believe that all human life is worthy of protection of our laws. And when you present it in the context of Zika or any prenatal condition, it’s a difficult question and a hard one," Rubio told POLITICO.

Why is Trump complaining about his debate schedule with Clinton? Here are 3 theories.

http://www.vox.com/2016/8/4/12341764/trump-general-debate-dates-clinton-rigged

Updated by Tara Golshan on August 4, 2016, 9:30 a.m. ET

Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are scheduled to have three presidential debates as the election heads into September and October.

But first, Trump wants to debate when to debate.

Trump has already started claiming that Clinton and the Democrats "are trying to rig the debates" — because two of the matchups will conflict with NFL games. The first debate, on September 26, coincides with a game between the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints. The third debate, on October 9, is on the same day as a game between the New York Giants and the Green Bay Packers:

The implication, presumably, is that Clinton wanted the debates scheduled on a night when no one was watching.

There are a couple of huge problems with Trump’s complaints: First, neither candidate nor political party had anything to do with this schedule. The presidential debates are set by the independent Commission on Presidential Debates a year in advance — in fact, this year’s schedule was set on September 23, 2015, seven months before the NFL released its schedule.

*read the rest at the link above.lol*

1) Trump’s complaints about the debate are really just an excuse to attack Clinton
2) Trump is giving himself an out if he loses the debate — or laying the groundwork to skip
3) Trump just wants attention, and he doesn’t care how he gets it
