IrishAyes's JournalI read that Robin Roberts came out today. It's no longer necessarily fatal to one's career
thanks in part to the atmosphere promoted by President Obama (and many others). I'm glad of that, partly because I don't see how there could be a nicer person than Robin. I was so concerned during her long illness. She's done so much good for people.
Yes, and they'll rue the day they took the alternative or opted out entirely. Maybe then it will
become clear to them what idiots they were. I also keep hearing Repugs on the news repeating the word 'disaster'. The only disaster will fall on them.
Thanks, they always are, even if I have to light a bonfire. It's one time of the year that mellows
me most of all. Hope yours went well also. I count my BOG friends as major blessings.
And Frank Schaeffer would know, having had such a tough row to hoe himself,
especially lately. I was pleased today to see the UMC pastor wearing a purple bracelet. I should get one myself somewhere.
Contrary to opinions some other places, we actually do appreciate facts here. It's those very
facts that cause our celebrations.
Still, it was good of you to withdraw that post.
Bet your sweet bippy (whatever that is?) it will. I've got my Demo gear laid out and ready.
Rethugs beware!
Well, I'm a coffee fiend, though. Blend my own, flavor it various ways, and perk it
(drip won't do) strong enough to melt paint off steel. But I don't leave it in the pot. It goes straight into the frig, and I use it diluted throughout the day. That means a mike to heat it.
The first time we took our son to Disnetland, he was only about 3.
He looked at Minnie Mouse and gushed to me, "She's so beautiful!"
HEY, WILLIAM !!!
I'm still furious with you for stiffing your wife in the will. Why couldn't you leave her more than a bed, precious as those were in your day? Sounds rather churlish to me.
