Question: Is it plausible that Nunes was shown a completely

different set of documents? Nunes at his news conference seemed genuinely spooked. If the original documents he saw somehow involved him that could possibly explain why he so quickly became a willing pawn. This Whitehouse seems capable of anything, fueled by a win at any cost mentality. Just trying to look at all the possibilities and make some sense out of a crazy situation created by a bunch of keystone cops.

Paraphrasing here...all that is required for evil to succeed is

for good people to keep quiet. Journalists should be in pursuit of truth. Highlight the error and quickly move on. Maybe a bit of theatre here.
