Enoki33's JournalTrump is known as never letting go of a grudge . Because the Brits will
not go the flattery route he is sure to harbor one. Sooner or later he is going to do or say something he perceives as payback and will end up looking stupid. Or worse.
Maxine Waters is right. I know Trump is too lazy intellectually to have read books
by John le Carre', but he is attempting a classic case of misdirection to deflect from the dangerous implications of his Russian connections and the real possibility that there could be a mole in the Whitehouse - why else would intelligence professionals withhold sensitive information? His recent antics in Florida is a prime example. Wish we had more like Maxine Waters.
If the Dems are smart enough to paint the GOP into
the corner where they have to publicly choose between Trump/Russia and country your hope will be realized. The prevailing Republican mentality says they will choose Trump. That will be a loosing hand.
It is my deduction that Trump's greatest fear, and vulnerability, is his Putin/oligarchs Russian
connections. They are intertwined with his tax returns and that is only on the surface. It all goes much much deeper and all disguised under the pretext of the Russians helping us to fight ISIS. Notice how guickly he rolled out the much abused bogus voters straw man as a distraction from the Flynn actions?. Also his claim of not knowing anything?. Also Russia's timed speculated offer of returning Snowden? The security apparatuses of our country have much more information from their investigations and they will uphold their oath. That is my hope.
A friend in Australia confirms the hatred is for real. They are
an extremely proud (with good reason) and fiercely independent people who will not soon forget Trump's insult. They are influential in the region. They are also amazed at the stupidity of the people here who ultimately are responsible. It is not good! This is the same friend who once told me we have auctions, not elections in this country and that we would one day pay the price. While Trump may not be that product, the success of his con was and is based on collective stupidity, racism and sexism.
This is sketchy at best. Over a week ago there was a report that Putin offered shares of the
state oil conglomerate he controls to remove the sanctions. Recently there was another report of the sale of some nineteen percent of that company to an undisclosed buyer. It was financed by a Russian bank and channeled through a truly confusing myriad of shell companies, one of which was eventually traced to Cayman. I expect real journalists are now busy with their investigations and there will be more concrete reports. On the surface it has all the hallmarks of a Putin operation.
For me the real scary part is that from all past and present indicators Trump
patterned his campaign and rules on the basis of his publicly stated admiration of Putin, and that brings into focus the question how far is Trump planning to go? Will journalists also be included? This is not being an alarmist. Our nation as we know it has already changed for the worst, and there can be no disputing that the slide will continue. Trump does not intend to govern. He intends to rule. Again, how far will he be allowed to go? And to what extent? In my lifetime l have already had to flee from another country because of a tinpot dictator who lacked the racist intent.
