Newsweek President Donald Trump announced Saturday that China’s President Xi Jinping first got him thinking about introducing the death penalty for drugs dealers.
“We catch a drug dealer, death penalty. That’s it,” Trump told the crowd.

The DEA says most of the fentanyl comes from China, with traffickers sending the product through the mail directly to customers in the U.S. or supplying Mexican cartels, which cut the fentanyl into heroin.
