It was very tense, and very close, but at the last second One Two Three edged the victory away from Uno Dos Tres and became the fastest swimmer. However, the French cat was never seen again? Why?

The poster here known as Different Drummer first saw the light of day. A bit of information about how I chose my handle. It comes from the Stone Poneys song "Different Drum." It's appropriate for me because, here in brick red Georgia, I have different views from most folks. I have lost "friends" over it and alienated family members, but I'm not about to "go along to get along" if it doesn't fit how I see myself.

Among others, I share my birthday with our esteemed 46th President. He is 19 years my senior.

Serious question for anyone who can answer it.

In various places on the internet I'm seeing not just a lot of dislike, but outright hatred, of jellied cranberry sauce. What in the blue hell is up with that?! I love the stuff and can't imagine Thanksgiving without it. I even eat it at times when it isn't Thanksgiving, so I don't get the hatred!
