Oprah Winfrey is as much a fraud as the ones she brought into the spotlight.
We're talking Joel Osteen, James Frey, Dr. Phil, Dr. Oz, Suze Orman, etc. and the rest of her "magical thinking" bullshit.
Personally, I was never a fan. Much like Trump, I've always felt that she was foisted upon us.
Afternoon talk shows were great until she hit the scene. I adored Phil Donahue. His show was always intelligent and thought provoking. Then comes Oprah with her fluff crap and the genre went down hill from there.
BFD, she gives away cars. Does she cover the costs for the insurance?
Her response to Dr. Oz's Senate run is "Let Pennsylvania decide".
F*** her and the horse she rode in on.
Twitter warning: Jim Cramer posted a photo of empty shelves and got some responses

Dear DU legal eagles,
Does the prosecution have to let the defense know what they have to build a case?
I ask due the "inaction" of the DOJ in regard to January 6th.
Please no flaming, as I haven't a clue and admit to it.
Thank you.
LA police kill teen girl while firing shots at male suspect
LOS ANGELES (AP) Los Angeles police fatally shot a 14-year-old girl who was inside a clothing store dressing room Thursday as they fired at a suspect who had assaulted a woman earlier, authorities said.
The male suspect was also killed in the police shooting, authorities said. The woman who had been assaulted was taken to the hospital with moderate to serious injuries.
The shots were fired around 11:45 a.m. at a Burlington store part of a chain formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory in the North Hollywood area of the San Fernando Valley.
Police initially responded to reports of a person being assaulted with a deadly weapon as well as reports of shots being fired, said Los Angeles police Capt. Stacy Spell at a news conference. Spell said officers opened fire when they saw the suspect assaulting another person.
The suspect was struck by the officers bullets and killed, Spell said.
One of the bullets went through a dressing room wall and struck the 14-year-old girl, according to LAPD Assistant Chief Dominic Choi. Officers later found her inside.
:snip:
Choi said authorities do not yet know the mans motive or whether he knew the woman he initially assaulted in the store.
Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson Nicholas Prange said that woman had moderate to serious injuries and was transported to a hospital. It wasnt immediately known if shed been shot but Choi said she had injuries to her head, arms and face.
Police found a heavy metal cable lock near the suspect that they say may have been used in that assault.
Spell said the injured woman was the victim in the first assault report. It was not immediately clear what weapon was involved in that assault.
He added that police had received calls about the suspect acting erratically before the incident.

Blue Lives Matter: Cops Covered Up Sex Trafficking Ring to Receive Free Sex Acts, Lawsuit Says
Top cops from the Fairfax County Police Department allegedly hindered a sex trafficking investigation for almost four years in exchange for sex acts.
An unidentified woman, referred to as Jane Doe in the lawsuit, alleges that 13 officers at the Fairfax County Police Department, including a captain and the former chief, berated, threatened, and coerced a detective who began looking into the trafficking ring until he dropped the investigation altogether. During that time, Doe and other victims of the operation were forced to provide free services to some of the officers, according to the suit.
Defendants knowingly solicited and obtained commercial sex services from Jane Doe, a victim of sex trafficking, when each defendant knew or should have known that Jane Doe was made to engage in commercial sex services by means of force, fraud or coercion, the lawsuit says.
And when Fairfax Countys sex trafficking detective William Woolf found victims of the trafficking ring who said they knew cops were soliciting sex in exchange for protecting the enterprise, his captain allegedly did nothing to help.
You have six kids, the lieutenant allegedly told Woolf. You have to think about them.
Fearful of what might happen if he didnt drop the investigation, Woolf eventually gave into the demands. He agonized over the decision and cried for the first time in his professional career, according to the lawsuit.
The interruption of Woolfs police work also began around the same time Doe and other victims in the enterprise were allegedly told to provide free sex acts to officers, including Woolfs superior, in exchange for information that would protect the trafficking ring from law enforcement. The rings leader was tipped off by police thanks to the close oversight of Woolfs work, according to the lawsuit.
Woolf was eventually transferred to the Major Crimes Division and left the department entirely in 2017 to become Director of Human Trafficking Programs for the United States Department of Justice and serve several other related roles in the federal government.

Is there data to backup the assertion that people use welfare $ to buy drugs & alcohol?
If not, at what point in time will anyone in the media push back or correct those lies?
They tried to prove people on welfare used their meager funds on drugs/booze in Florida a few years back only to have it blow up in their faces. Yet the lie persists.
Why?
Former Olympic speed skater charged with defrauding millions from government
from the "Sports builds character" Department
Allison Marie Baver, 41, of Taylorsville, has been charged with nine federal criminal counts related to making false statements on loan applications to obtain funds obtained through the Small Business Administrations Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).
In the indictment, Baver is charged with eight counts of making a false statement to a bank and one count of money laundering.
According to the allegations contained in the federal indictment, Baver is the listed owner and agent for Allison Baver Entertainment, LLC, and submitted eight PPP loan applications from April 13, 2020, through April 26, 2020 to Northeast Bank and Meridian Bank.
In each of the loan applications, Baver allegedly sought 10 million dollars of PPP loan funding for her entertainment company. However, prosecutors allege that Baver falsely stated in each loan application that ABEs average monthly payroll was between $4,000,000 to $4,769,583, when ABE had no average monthly payroll; and, that ABE had between 100 to 430 employees, when ABE had no employees.
Prosecutors also allege that these false statements resulted in Baver fraudulently obtaining 10 million dollars in PPP loans from Meridian Bank, and that Baver accepted that money and transferred it to a separate bank account where she began using a portion of the funding to invest in a movie.
SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) Former Olympic speed skater Allison Marie Baver has been charged with defrauding the government of millions of dollars in Paycheck Protection Program loans.
The U.S. Attorneys Office in the District of Utah says the 41-year-old obtained a total of $10 million in loans obtained through the Small Business Administrations Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). Baver has been charged with eight federal counts of making a false statement to a bank and one count of money laundering.
According to court documents, Baver is charged with making false statements on loan applications for a company she owns, Allison Baver Entertainment, LLC. During the period of April 13, 2020, to April 26, 2020, officials say Baver submitted eight different loan applications to Northeast Bank and Meridian Bank. In each application, Baver allegedly sought $10 million of PPP loan funding.
Court documents say Baver claimed her companys monthly payroll averaged between $4,000,000 to $4,769,583 for 100 to 430 employees when in reality, Allison Baver Entertainment had no employees and no average monthly payroll. Baver was able to obtain $10 million in funding, which prosecutors say she transferred to a separate bank account and used a portion of to invest in the production of a film.
Best known as an Olympic speed skater, Baver won a bronze medal at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics in the womens 3000m relay after competing in the 2002 and 2006 Olympics.
Let's be honest. The citizenry doesn't want nice things - so why keep trying?
Think about it, people vote against their own best because they like it that.
And judging from our right leaning members - we're going experience that in buckets and spades in 2022.
They want you to just give up.
Don't listen to any of those fucks.
Thank you.
Eric Clapton successfully sues 55-year-old German widow for listing bootleg CD on eBay for $11
that'll show her!
The woman referred to in filings as Gabriele P. will have to pay court costs for both herself and Clapton, reportedly totaling almost $4,000
A 55-year-old German widow named in reports as Gabriele P. has reportedly been mandated to pay for court costs for both herself and Eric Clapton, after the electric guitar player successfully sued her over the sale of a live bootleg CD on eBay.
According to the German newspaper Bild, the bootleg, Live USA, was purchased by the defendant's late husband at a department store more than 30 years ago. Gabriele then went on to list the album on eBay for 9.95 (~$11) in July, after which Clapton citing the illegal nature of the album sent the court an affidavit.
The Düsseldorf Regional Court ruled in Clapton's favor, and yesterday (December 15) rejected Gabriele P's appeal on the initial ruling, saying that the facts that she neither bought the CD herself initially nor knew, at the time she listed it on eBay, that it was a bootleg, were immaterial.
Gabriele P. now reportedly faces either a 250,000 fine or six-month prison sentence if she continues her efforts to sell the album.
