At best, say legal experts, Mark Sahady’s behavior is bad optics and could serve to irritate the judge deciding his fate. At worst, his actions could potentially constitute a violation of the bail conditions set by the court.
“I have a motion to disappear from the case because (1) my client hasn’t paid me at all for work performed in this case and (2) he is not returning my phone calls,” defense attorney Rinaldo Del Gallo III told The Daily Beast in an email.

Federal Appeals Court Suspends Larry Klayman from Practicing Law in D.C.
A federal appeals court on Friday suspended attorney and activist Larry Klayman — the founder of conservative legal organization Judicial Watch — for representing clients on both sides of the same legal dispute with clear conflict of interest implications. In a harshly worded 13-page opinion penned by Judge David S. Tatel, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit imposed a reciprocal 90-day suspension on the Laura Loomer, George Zimmerman, and Joe Arpaio attorney, also referring Klayman’s case to the Committee on Grievances for recommendations “on whether further discipline is warranted.”

Would harsh mandatory minimum sentences for gun related accidents/crimes be a better approach?
Like they did with marijuana back in the 1980s. Get caught with a seed stuck on the floor of your car - ten years no exceptions.
Misfire your gun by accident - 6 months - 3 years
Illegal possession - 5+ years
Accidental deaths - 5-15 years
Use a gun to commit crimes even if you didn't fire - 25 years
yada yada
I do think most gun owners/enthusiasts/collectors are responsible but something needs to be done about those who aren't.

Trump predicted news ratings would ‘tank if I’m not there.’ He wasn’t wrong.
Of all Donald Trump’s prophecies and predictions — that Mexico would pay for a border wall, that the coronavirus would spontaneously disappear, that he would be easily reelected — at least one wasn’t entirely wrong.
“Newspapers, television, all forms of media will tank if I’m not there,” he augured in 2017, “because without me, their ratings are going down the tubes.”
Barely two months into the post-Trump era, news outlets are indeed losing much of the audience and readership they gained during his chaotic presidency. In other words, journalism’s Trump bump may be giving way to a slump.
After a record-setting January, traffic to the nation’s most popular mainstream news sites, including The Washington Post, plummeted in February, according to the audience tracking firm ComScore. The top sites were also generally doing worse than in February of last year, when the pandemic became a major international news story.
The Post, for example, saw the number of unique visitors fall 26 percent from January to February, and 7 percent from a year ago. The New York Times lost 17 percent compared with January and 16 percent over last February.
The story is largely the same for cable and broadcast news. Audiences grew during the pandemic last spring and summer, remained high in the fall as Trump tried to fight his electoral defeat with false claims of voter fraud, and swelled in the first few weeks of 2021 when a mob attacked the Capitol and Trump became the first president in history to be impeached and acquitted twice.

The video shows cops pulling over Johnny Damon and his wife who were both uncooperative with authorities from the start, with the two-time World Series champ appearing confused as to why he had been stopped.
“I know people are trying to target me because I’m a Trump supporter,” Damon told the cop looking for his ID. “I don’t think that has anything to do with it,” the officer replied. “Yeah, it does,” Damon concluded.
The Orlando Sentinel reports:
Mangan-Damon got out of the SUV again and tried to walk toward her husband. The officer then started to handcuff her, according to the video. “Don’t touch me,” she said. “Don’t fucking touch me.” A scuffle between her, Damon and the officer ensued, knocking his body camera to the ground.
Damon and his wife were handcuffed and taken to the Orange County Jail. He was arrested on driving under the influence. Mangan-Damon is facing charges of battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting officer with violence.
